Visited late afternoon and that was a great idea. Hardly any people, quiet and in time for the sunset which is very impressive. Great views from the hill. Entry 6 euro for adults and children are 2 euro.

We arrived at 5 pm and the castle was closed although it was supposed to be opened till 9 pm like it was written on the entance door. There was seven of us from different countries in the parking space wondering what's going on. Then one guy appeared at the door and when we asked for explanation he just says "today is closed". Don't waste your time like we have.

Beautiful place! Not crowded with tourist, very friendly staff, good view and even lucky that on Sunday there is someone showing a manual printing press. Would definitely recommend going here. Nice (steep) walk up from celje parking.
