Dear TOURISTS! Please use the MAIN road to castle (the one on the maps that looks longer - it is not, lasts 4 minutes), not the one for the locals through Zagrad (lasts much longer), because it is in a really bad state, it is narrow (not even for 1 car), really steep and some part is under construction and often closed. Drivers who are not used to it cause daily traffic blocks and locals can't get to their homes. They also damage and scratch their cars. We often have to help them remove their vehicles from the road, cause they get stuck in the mud or on the hill. So PLEASE for your own safety, use the main road.

The cleaning lady rocks!

Heel mooi kasteel dat je kan bezoeken voor een kleine prijs. Wij hebben er 2u kunnen spenderen. Je leert er veel over de geschiedenis. Adembenemend uitzicht. Er is een leuke cafetaria binnen de kasteelmuren waar je iets kleins kan eten en kan drinken. Grootste pluspunt is dat er ook een kleine speeltuin is voor de kindjes. Wel heel gezellig om daar even te zitten.

Très bel endroit. Ancienne forteresse du XIIe siècle et remaniée jusqu'au XVIe, l'ensemble est très bien aménagé (explication en anglais ) et les points de vue de la tour, haute de 23m, sont magnifiques. Pour les amateurs, il existe un billet combiné à 15€ (10€ pour les seniors) avec les deux châteaux /musées du centre ville. A faire.

Great castle you can drive to or walk the very steep old gravel path that takes about 30 mins. Lots of history, great views and a nice cafe.
