The castle of Celje, which rises on a hilltop, can be seen from afar in and around the city too. There is parking place near the castle, it was not overcrowded on weekdays. We also received a coffee voucher with the ticket, which we used immediately. There is also an outdoor giant chess at the castle café, which we tried. The castle is beautifully renovated and maintained. Entering the main bastion, there is also a digital tutorial available in several languages, with torture equipment on the ground floor and on the roof a beautiful view from the castle to the city and surrounding drum. There is a contemporary exhibition in the north-west tower, unfortunately the roof is still closed. We tested the telescope at the west wall, brings back the life of the old figures of the castle and show a slice of the village’s inspiration. The castle is in a beautiful location, beautifully renovated, well worth a visit. Thank you for the experience. HU A dombtetőn magasodó Celje vára már messziről látható a városból és a környékről egyaránt. Parkolóhely van a vár környékén, hétköznap nem volt túlzsúfolt. A belépőjegy mellé egy kávékupont is kaptunk, melyet fel is használtunk azonnal. A vár kávézójánál egy kültéri óriás sakk is található, melyet ki is próbáltunk. Maga a vár szépen felújított és gondozott. A fő bástyába lépve egy több nyelven kiválasztható digitális oktatóanyag is található, a földszinten kínzóeszközök, a tetőn pedig a gyönyörű látvány fogad a várból a városra és a környező dobvidékre. Az északnyugati toronyban korabeli kiállítás található, sajnos a tetőrész még zárva van. A nyugati falnál található egy távcső, melyet kipróbálva a vár régi alakjai és a falu inspirációja kelnek életre. A vár gyönyörű helyen van, szépen felújított, érdemes meglátogatni. I observed this castle for 25 years as I drove through Celje and I always said to myself, one day. Today was that day and I can only say, this is one of the most beautiful and interesting castles in Slovenia. Very interesting to see for both children and adults.

6 Euro za spacer po świeżo odrestaurowanych ruinach? Hmmm... Można się przejść wokół zamku (jeżeli znajdziesz miejsce parkingowe - jest ich zaledwie ok 20). Zabytki w centrum miasta są o wiele ciekawsze. Widoki z zamkowego wzgórza (szczególnie w deszczowy dzień, z niskimi chmurami) są piękne.
