It was literally so mid. Liked it for sure but kind of a let-down tbh. Looks super cool from the outside, but it’s been renovated and inside it looks too modernized in some places. They try to capitalize on the castle/tourists and this sacrifices some of the authenticity. Also the video mapping event was the weirdest thing I have ever experienced and was super unrelated to the castle, super unnecessary, but still pretty cool.

An amazing place where you can breathe medieval history. The conservation of that historical monument is amazing and people are available to explain everything you need to know. The ticket is 15€ per adult and it is valid for six months so you can visit the place over and over. That's the pearl of Ljubljana

My favorite castle! Very interactive with friendly staff. You can see the puppet museum, and learn more about the castle’s history with their 4D 12-min movie. Clean toilets, with cafe and restaurant. Amazing view of the city and the mountains. Must-visit! You can buy tickets on site, and card payment available.

Visiting Ljubljana Castle was a fascinating experience. The highlight for me was the 4D video with full immersion and storytelling—it was absolutely captivating and brought the history of the castle to life in a unique way. I was completely drawn in by the visuals and sound. The view from the tower was also stunning and added a perfect ending to the visit. Overall, a truly memorable experience!

A beautiful castle that sits on a hill overlooking the city. We purchased a combination ticket for both the castle and funicular, then took the quick funicular ride up to the castle. Lots to see and explore, including towers, restaurants, and a wine bar/cellar with outdoor seating that has a great view of the city.

Beautiful very clean, impressive castle. You can go down the castle easily. Going up with lift is 3 euros one direction per person. Very nice view from the castle and from the lift.

Il castello a Lubiana. Situato su una collina che domina sulla città. Dalla torre si può infatti ammirare tutta la cittá. Si accede a piedi o con funicolare. Se acquisti biglietto puoi visitare e ammirare i suoi interni comprese tracce di storia della nazione, solo con questo. Con l'audio guida inoltre scoprirai la storia del castello (consigliato).
