Attending the Candlelight: Hans Zimmer's Best Works concert was an enchanting experience. The ambiance created by the flickering candlelight set the perfect mood for an evening of exceptional music. The musicians performed Zimmer’s iconic scores from *The Lion King*, *Inception*, *Gladiator*, and more with stunning precision and emotion. Each piece resonated beautifully in the intimate setting, making it a night to remember. Highly recommended for any music or film score enthusiast. Five stars!✨✨✨✨✨

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at this incredible venue and cannot recommend it highly enough. The venue is simply stunning - The Wood Hall is an awe-inspiring space which provided a unique setting for our perfect day. Our guests were utterly charmed and delighted by it, as were we. The staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted. They’re a lovely, friendly team and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Their wedding packages are excellent value and the food and drink of a high standard. This is an amazing location in which to get married and provides some wonderful photo opportunities. If you’re looking for a beautiful and unique venue then look no further than The Common Room!

Visited for a classical concert. For me, the venue was better than the music (but it's a great venue for live performances). Apart from the great history of the building, it's stunning inside, with a great vaulted ceiling and stained glass windows. Very handy for the Central Station.
