I'm writing to share my unfortunate experience at a hotel Portal in Ljubljana, Slovenia, during a recent business trip. Unfortunately, the hotel fell short in several key areas. Upon arrival, the check-in process was disorganized, and we had to retrieve our room key from the bar counter due to the unavailability of the guest service desk. The staff's unwelcoming demeanor set the tone for our stay. Our room was plagued by relentless traffic noise, making sleep nearly impossible. The following morning, breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options and an unusable coffee machine. Moreover, the buffet lacked basic hygiene measures, such as sneeze guards and serving utensils. Regrettably, the servers were consistently rude throughout our stay. In a disturbing incident, hotel staff (hotel owner) lit garbage on top of my car, mistakenly assuming it didn't belong to a hotel guest. Plus no one apologized! Horrible! During checkout, we encountered further issues when the hotel attempted to charge us extra. In light of these experiences, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel for business or leisure trips to Bed and breakfast Hotel Portal. Instead, consider alternative options.

The worst experience in the worst hotel ever, lack of cleanliness everywhere, a bad smell inside the rooms, insects everywhere, noisy music at night, it is not possible to sleep at night until the morning hours, there is no air conditioning, not suitable even for the homeless.

Good Serbian food and especially to be commended, good and fast service, which is a real rarity these days. I recommend.
