International traveller and new to SPAR. Went in to purchase items and bought something on sale. Walked out paying €8 more than advertised. We went to the customer service to arrange a refund and they said they can't do refunds, only credit voucher. We explained we were leaving to go back home and they didn't care. They said we need to have a SPAR card to get the benefits, so we signed up (despite being overseas), then she said we could go back into line to buy the item again and use our credit voucher. Would have been simpler to arrange refund of the €8 on the spot. Second experience we went to a store and didn't have the card so would sign up under another traveller name. Waited in line to get a paper to sign up and took forever. Then we were given a form but no pen, the lady just walked off. Last experience we tried to claim the voucher but they said we need both receipts, not just the barcode (which is cut off on a second receipt, not whole). We had to get them to validate the voucher was not used. It was such a hassle to deal with them. They did not communicate the process well. Everything was just too hard and little effort. Mind you there are good competition stores to choose from that are often much cheaper (€4.99 SPAR and €1.50 elsewhere for same product and brand). For the price I would expect more.

A very big Interspar with tons of varieties. I am used to the Interspar markets in Austria and I have got to say: this one is way better. Prices are okay.
