The hostel team was very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely clean and generously furnished. I have never slept so well in a hostel as here - a really comfortable bed! I can really recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to meet international people. It's great!

Nice place, the mnager is really nice and responsive. The confort was what i expect for an hostel so I really enjoyed spending time there.

I lived there for 4 months, from October 2018 till February 2019. Tim (manager) is nice and uses to solve the problem you have with the utilities. But most of the stay both I and some other roommates suffered continue bites of bedbugs in our rooms and some days it was really frustrating to wake up with such a body inching (we started to experiment inching like 10 days after arriving, but it increased more and more during next weeks till the point of asking the roommates about this issue and finding out that several of us were in the same situation; moment when we told Tim about the issue). Tim sprayed our rooms 2 times but the insects always showed up again, maybe because what is needed is to fumigate the whole hostel and not just some rooms. A funny thing: I had to pay 20€ (devoted to a 'professional cleaning') before leaving, even having cleaned the room and bathroom by myself beforehand (if I wouldn't, Tim would have made me to pay 50€). This is something that I knew that would happen since the contract that me and other students in my situation signed stated it (must say that some of them emailed him to ask about this and he never replied). What it didn't say is that, when arriving, my room seemed not having had that 'professional cleaning' , reaching to find several things between my bed and the wall (among them, a USED CONDOM). For this I can't recommend the hostel. The only good thing I got there is the super nice other students I lived with during this studies stay.

Hello Marcos, I am sorry you have had so many problems with you room. You know I fixed everything for you as soon as you complained. However it is very difficult if a guest staying in a room for longer time like you have, does not say anything about this problems for the first 2 months of staying here. Bed bugs have for sure (100%) not been in your room when you arrived or after 2 months there would already be a lot of them, however you know you also could not find any after “turning the room upside down”. You also know that I cleaned your room from top to bottom and you told me that you have not had any more problems with any bits after that! the same goes for two other students staying next door from your room! So I am surprised that you are so angry about that 20€ for final cleaning that are stated in every contract and no one else have complained about. I answered all of your questions before you signed the contract so I feel Iwas fair to you. Anyhow, I thank you for staying here and only wish you have told me about your problems sooner than after 2 months of your stay if you really had this problems from beginning. Ostello ben curato e pulito, presenti postazioni internet gratuite, un biliardo, un salottino e un cucinino provvisto di tutto, in comune. Possibilità di usufruire di una lavanderia. Tim, il proprietario, estremamente gentile, disponibile, educato e simpatico e parla un ottimo inglese. Camere piccoline ben tenute, bagno in condivisione (non so se si tutte le stanze) ma ci sono altre toilette disponibili. Dista a circa 20 minuti a piedi dal centro, ma è cmq facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici. Parcheggio gratuito molto vicino. Supermercato adiacente. Consigliato!

Excellent hostel! Would definetly recommend it to anyone, the owner Tim is super nice and helps you out in every possible way he can! My wife and I had a really comfy stay at Aladin. Top notch service.

This is a superb hostels for youngsters and business travellers on tight budget. There are two Mercator shops, cafeteria, bus stop and bank close by. There is also a fruit vendor nearby. Very much in the heart of Ljubljana, the hostel is walking distance from Park Tivoli, Govinda - ISKCON run dining place. The hostel is able to offer such economy by using the concept of toilet sharing between two rooms (when one room's occupants are using the toilet they put a latch on door opposite that locks the entry from adjoining room). And the best thing about this hostel is it has the most friendly owner and manager.

Aldin-Hostel is a fantastic hostel in every sense of the word. The staff are friendly (as it appears all Slovenins are) and incredibly knowledgeable. We were given a great run down of all the best spots in the city, bars, cafés ect. Tim also made us aware of discounts that could be used by staying at the hostel. The location is slightly out of the center but a 10 min bus or 30 min walk isn't too bad, especially with the amenities in the surrounding areas. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the shower and toilets were very clean aswell. Perfect place for any traveller, would definitely stay there again. Easy 5 stars.
