Location to flixbus station was a huge plus, free breakfast, luggage storage after checkout and amazing staff were also positives for me! Unfortunately with the layout in the dorm I chose I personally wasn’t a fan of how close the beds were to neighbors. It also luckily was no problem during my stay of 1 night, but with the en-suite bathrooms it can be difficult as one person showering/ post-shower readying for typically 10-20 minutes then puts the toilet out of capacity for 8-10 others during this time :/ The old prison aspect was super interesting!

This was my favorite hostel of my whole trip!! The staff was more than nice to us, we had free breakfast, there was a Karaoke night when we were there and another night a language café. The hostel is really trying to connect people and offer them fun activities. The rooms were nice, the bathroom was clean. The only bad thing was the smell, that came from the bathroom sometimes. It has something to do with the water source, but that problem appears in many regions. It wouldn’t be a reason for me to not stay there, as it is probably a problem in every hostel there. Besides that we met a lot of cool people there! Overall it is soo worth the price, you can really see how the Hostel is trying their best!

Les tops: on sent qu’il y a de l’investissement : - badges pour tous les accès, toilettes d’accueil avec pin qui change toutes les semaines, espaces modernes, espace zen, toilettes avec les derniers équipements modernes - petit déjeuner à emporter sur demande. Inclut sandwich, jus de fruit, fruit, barre de céréales. - espace cuisine - serviette incluse - casier privé accessible avec badge incluant une prise à l’intérieur !!! - rapport qualité prix incomparable - excellente localisation pour les transports (bus et train) - accès de stockage contrôlé pour dépôt de bagages - un service aux petits soins - un petit déjeuner de luxe

Amazing place! The neighborhood is not so safe I would say, I didn't feel comfortable, but the hostel is perfect. I love rooms and all the way they are designed. Stuff is so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is tasty and various. All hostel is clean and funny. There was a concert at the time we stayed there and I absolutely loved it 🥰 I highly recommend 🥰 can't wait to go back again 😀

This hostel has a great personality! Great location and a great offer of activities and helpful tips even before you arrive to the place, thank you ! I stayed in the 12 bed dorm which looked more spacious in the photos but had a proper distribution. You have lockers to keep your valuables and some space beside your bed too. Very clean, which is great! The staff here is amazing. Ana, Petra, Milica and the rest of people that make this place function, million thanks for the vibe that’s created. It is definitely a non-typical hostel due to his history so if you want to stay and keep promoting revolutionary spaces, you MUST discover this place. It is true that there isn’t a lift and some of their rooms have steps for getting into your bed so, I would recommend to ask or mention if you have any problem with stairs, maybe you can find an option on the main floor.

L'ostello si trova a 10 minuti dal centro, 5 dalla stazione e in una zona mista tra degrado e arte, soprattutto da strada. L'ostello è bellissimo come servizio e locali comuni. Colazione abbondante inclusa. Possibilità di deposito bagagli e bar. Camere adeguate, ma soffitto un po' basso. Manca il bidet. Consigliatissimo

Ein schöner Ort mit Blick für's Detail (Spiele zum Ausleihen, Gemeinschaftsküche, Orte zum Verweilen, Schließfächer mit Zimmerkarte...). Und tolles Frühstück! Ein Ort für alle:)

Positiv: Das Hostel verfügt über gratis Parkplätze direkt vor dem Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, jedoch ausreichend für zwei Personen. Auch war es sehr sauber. Im Gegensatz zu andern Bewertungen war es bei uns in der Nacht leise, wie waren aber auch von Sonntag auf einen Montag da. Die gemeinsam genutzten WC’s und Duschen waren für ein Hostel ebenfalls in Ordnung. Negativ: Das Frühstück war nicht supergut, jedoch ausreichend für ein Hostel. Auf dem Areal des Hostels waren teilweise unheimliche Personen unterwegs. Es ist zu beachten, dass man noch etwa 10 Minuten in die Altstadt laufen muss.

Great spot, great vibe, friendly staff! The night I stayed they had an incredible live Latin band playing downstairs, but everything was wrapped up by 11pm so still had a great night's sleep. The place had a great social atmosphere but it's not a party hostel. Located in a cool arts district with community bars/ live theatre and music. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pour une escapade à Ljubljana il faut dormir dans cette ancienne prison. Certes les chambres sont petites mais l'ambiance auberge de jeunesse, l'accueil, et le petit déjeuné sont excellents. En plus l'établissement est situé au cœur du Metelkova Art Centre non loin du Slovenian Ethnographic Museum. Le centre ville n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pieds. Très très bonne adresse

Nada recomendable llegar de noche Llegamos de noche y la experiencia fue muy mala, habia un grupo de 20 personas por fuera del hostel, bebiendo, fumando y con música súper alta a las 11 casi 12 de la noche.Tuvimos que tocar 3 veces el timbre para que los del establecimiento nos abrieran ya que dentro también tenían música súper alta y no escuchaban el timbre cuando les estábamos tocando. El personal es súper amable Las habitaciones están bien, camas cómodas, aunque almohadas muy finas, lo único malo es la escalera para subir a la litera es un verdadero reto. Las duchas y baños eran amplias y estaban limpios Otra cosa fatal es el ruido que se escucha desde fuera ya que como dije antes había una fiesta fuera y la música no paro hasta las 6 de la mañana. Si tienes problemas para quedarte dormido va a ser un imposible que duermas aquí No vengas en familia en busca de tranquilidad porque no la vas a encontrar,no te recomiendo nada quedarte aquí Por último el desayuno era muy muy básico

Este Hostel se encuentra en un barrio demasiado chungo , llegamos a la noche y había por fuera del como más 15 borrachos y era muy aterrador . Para nuestra sorpresa cuando llegamos tocamos el timbre como 3 veces y no nos abrían de lo alto que tenían la música dentro del Hostal , que hasta nos dijeron : perdón no escuchábamos el timbre con la música , a entrar la verdad que bastante amables, pero al llegar a nuestra habitación nos dimos cuenta que era una litera y las escaleras de la litera son imposibles de subir muy peligrosas , no recomendable para personas mayores. También quería añadir que desde nuestra habitación se escuchaba la música de fuera de la calle de la fiesta de los borrachos y además la música de los altavoces del propio Hostel , eso era una completa fiesta . Respecto al desayuno este era demasiado escaso ya que hay muy poca variedad , no es tan fantástico como lo pintan . Pero lo mejor de todo este Hostel es lo amable que son las recepcionistas un amor , y que además nos dejaron dejar nuestras maletas durante todo el día .

Sehr schön ausgestattetes Hostel, gutes Frühstück. Allerdings leider sehr laut. Wir haben zwei Tage übernachtet. Ein Tag spielte eine Band im Hof, am anderen Tag gab es eine große Party im angrenzenden Areal. Junge Leute, die das Nachtleben genießen wollen sind hier richtig.

Dit hostel heeft een toplocatie. Vlakbij station, randje stadscentrum, midden in Metelkova. Alles is schoon, het personeel is aardig en de kamers zijn prima. Ik vond de hoogslaper persoonlijk een uitdaging om uit te klimmen. Maar dat is het enige minpuntje. Ontbijt kan gaan vervelen als je meer dan 3 dagen verblijft. Maar is dik in orde.

Location is a bit far from the downtown scene but the Hostel has some definite charm though the rooms are on the smaller side. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast was reasonable.
