I (only) stayed there for one night. The cell was beautiful en the location is perfect. you can see all of Ljubljana while you are walking. Also very helpful staff which is often missed at other hostels. Would definitely stay here again if I go to Ljubljana.

My friend and I spent two fantastic nights at Celica. Our room (cell!) was cosy and comfortable. Our room had a table, seating, places to hang clothes and a round elevated bed. So fun! The aircon worked really well and we could open the window to let in fresh air when we wanted to. The toilets and showers were always spotless and never too busy. Water pressure and heat was excellent. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and spoke English beautifully. They even helped us book a hire car. Would 100% recommend staying here!

BED BUGS. Completely infested and filthy. I’m covered in very painful bites from only 1 night. Bed bugs lay 1000’s of eggs and if you get them you have to throw away or dryclean anything that can’t be washed at 90 degrees Celsius. The staff admitted they’ve had an ongoing problem with room 206 and rented it anyway, they basically said “this is a hostel, what do you expect?” This is going to cost me over €1000. I need to get everything professionally cleaned and replace my suitcase and cut my vacation short. I can’t sleep at all because the bites itch so bad and are forming blisters that are now popping and oozing liquid, some of the bites are on my face, I feel disgusting and people are looking at me like I have a contagious disease.

Super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms / beds. Great location in Metalkova if you appreciate street art, history, and / or alternative music. Highly recommend.

This Hostel nearly ruined our holiday and were perfectly willing to let us stay despite the whole building being infested with bed bugs. When we arrived, a woman outside warned us about the state of the rooms showing pictures of bugs litter etc. She also showed us her 60+ bites she had received during her stay. While we were outside a staff member came out and told us the place was now clean but this was clearly not true after what we saw next. Whilst we were outside a group of school children came past the hostel many of which had visible bites on their legs. Would not recommend staying until the hostel clean up their rooms and can provide better proof to customers that the rooms are safe to stay in.

Hostel molto caratteristico, inserito nel quartiere degli artisti; sorge in una ex-prigione, ma l'intero complesso è stato ammodernato recentemente. Spazi comuni grandi e carini, camere e bagni molto puliti e belli. Cucina in comune un po' piccola ma funzionale, presente anche locale lavanderia. Reception 24/24, possibilità di usare giochi in scatola gratuitamente. Riassumendo in una sola parola STUPENDO, l'unica pecca che si può trovare sono le porte con il bordo in vetro smerigliato che permette l'ingresso della luce di notte. Vivamente consigliato
