Very original place well organized and kind staff, however there is way too much noise outside close to the main entrance since many people are yelling or putting loud music until 6 - 7 Am on weekends. It could be a good option to change rooms’ windows

Fantastic place to stay! The rooms are great and the atmosphere is really nice. When I was here, it was full of young travellers. It's converted from an old prison so you can even go down into the old cells and look! The staff is really nice and helpful. I messed up my booking by a day but they were able to fix it at no cost to me, and get me a cheaper room. When my locker broke they were also helpful, but couldn't fix it until after I had to leave. Luckily I could get my stuff out before then so it wasn't a problem. You also get free breakfast! I just wish they had more began options. They are so focused on sustainability. They really shouldn't neglect the impact of animal agriculture on the environment. All in all, I can't recommend this place enough!

Das Hotel ist sauber und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Was uns als Familie gestört hat, ist der Lärm bis spät in die Nacht. Das in einem Hotel Konzerte und Karaoke Show stattfinden, finden wir speziell. Für Jugendliche ist das sicher ansprechend, für Familien und Erwachsende würde ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Un lieu original avec des chambres rigolotes. Bon petit déjeuner mais pas de jus de fruit. Le personnel est au top. Un concert de rock sympa à été organisé durant notre séjour. Qq spectateurs ont continué à la fin du concert à faire du bruit mais le personnel a fait le nécessaire

Lugar peculiar, habitaciones un poco incómodas, no se puede descansar bien, mucho ruido por los pasillos a altas horas de la madrugada.

Mas que hostel lindo!! Tanta atenção ao detalhe. Tivemos uma óptima experiência. Para começar o nosso quarto não tinham beliches e as camas eram lado a lado. E a casa de banho ficava dentro do nosso quarto. Eles tinham bastantes áreas comuns e o pequeno almoço era óptimo.

At first you might think the neighborhood is scary and unsafe, but it is not. We had a lovely time here with twelve teenagers and will sure come back!

What can you say: this is just a great, unique budget place. The rooms are really small (we stayed in a four-bed room) but the beds are comfortable, everything was clean and we had our own bathroom.||On the same floor as our room, there was a kitchen and a washing machine. I think it cost 10 euro to use it.||In the old prison yard there now were nice tables and hammocks. We talked to several of the other guests, as you often do at hostels. ||The breakfast was really good for being a hostel with a lot of fruit and fresh bread. ||It is about 10 minutes walk to the city center, and 7 minutes from the train station. But don't miss the area around the hostel: "Ljubljana's Christiania". ||We stayed here for two nights, four people, and I think we payed 300 euro for that, including breakfast - in a European capital.

Wir waren auf Klassenfahrt und haben im Hostel Celica übernachtet. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich und das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir werden uns wieder für dieses Hostel entscheiden.

Prima en bijzondere plek vlak bij de oude stad om voordelig te overnachten. Kamers zijn netjes, maar wel klein. Maar ja, het zijn dan ook voormalige gevangeniscellen. Gemeenschappelijke douches/toiletten misschien wel wat beperkt. Ligt binnen een soort vrijplaats en dat kan mensen afschrikken. Vooral 's avonds druk met jongeren, muziek en mensen die je wat genotsmiddelen willen verkopen.

I wonder how this place got so many good reviews. It completely don't deserve them. So yeah, I booked this place because it has great reviews/score... but in the end was waaaay below my (and other guests) expectations. Basic stuff that it lacks: - No locker in my room - No plugs in the bed (just a usb in the wall) - No shelf yo leave your stuff - AC is in the floor, and the beds are up, so since the cold air remains on the floor you roast in your bed, and you freeze when you get down. - Place acts as some sort of cultural center, so for example, I was trying to cook something in the kitchen, and there was this reading club of old people just sitting there. - Similar thing happened with some sort of recital. Suddenly the place was filled with people from outside the hostel the occupied all the common areas. Overall, the price/value equation it's not great for raising the place. For what they offer, it should cost way less and/or have a worse score. If you are a solo traveler, avoid this place

Rooms where a bit uncomfortable and without bed tables to leave your things, they had lockers though requiring only your room's key card to use. Breakfast included in the price was great and it's close to the train station. it is also close to an alternative art street which is really busy in the night Also the staff was helpful :)

I booked a shared dorm room for 1 night, and although I didn't spend too long in it, since I was out all day, I was very impressed with everything that I experienced during my stay. The room was very clean, and we each had a locker, which was opened using the key card, which I felt was very impressive. Each locker also had a charging port inside, which is very handy. The dorm room had 1 male and 1 female bathroom attached, which was very modern and clean. It's also a bonus that they offer free breakfast in the morning which is great for the price of the stay. The hostel is located slightly away from the centre of the city but it's only 15 minutes walk away from the main sites so for the quality and value of the place, I would highly recommend it. Also, it's close to the train station which is very convenient. The staff I spoke with were all very friendly and the reception is manned 24 hours. They're also able to look after your luggage before and after check in.

Not the best place for hostel due to night parties on an open place next to it. Hard to fall asleep there.
