Where smiles are on people's faces - there is Zazid!The village of Zazid has been a part of civilization since Roman times, but it still maintains its own unique character. Nestled between the cliffs of the Karst region, Zazid welcomes rock climbers, travelers, hikers, and cyclists to stop by and experience its breathtaking beauty. Here, you can take a breath of fresh air, rest, and sleep in a peaceful environment that will rejuvenate your heart and soul.
Accommodation
Hostel Xaxid offers accommodation in 4-5 bed dorms or private double rooms with shared kitchen, common room, and bathroom. Bed linen and towels are included in the price, so there is no need to bring your own sleeping bags. Our kitchens are fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, and basic ingredients like oil, vinegar, salt, and sugar are provided. We also have an oven and microwave available. Free Wi-Fi is provided, and there is the possibility of renting a separate hostel unit as an apartment for larger groups. We also provide information about local trails and landmarks at our tourist information point, and offer the option of a cold breakfast at an additional cost.

We are dedicated to providing you with all the services you need during your journey. Our services include housekeeping, heating, trip advising, car rental, car repair, and more. We pride ourselves on offering efficient and reliable service at a reasonable and fair price.
Green Hostel
At Hostel Xaxid, we strive to be an environmentally friendly hostel. Recycling is mandatory, and we heat all water using solar energy. We also minimize the use of unnecessary electric devices like dishwashing machines. We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can further improve our green practices.
Family Friendly
Hostel Xaxid is a family-friendly hostel. Our rooms are suitable for families with small children, and we provide amenities such as a small child bed, extra bed, bath tub, changing table/pillow, child carrier, child seats, seats for bikes, and toys - all available for free during your stay.

Très beau gîte dans une maison traditionnelle rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable et cuisiner vos repas. Une grande aire de jeux et un beau lac juste à côté. Plein de jeux à disposition pour les enfants. Quant aux hôtes, ce sont des gens tellement adorables ! Ils feront tout leur possible pour rendre votre séjour parfait. Nous devions arrêter pour la nuit, nous sommes restés une semaine ! Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil, nous espérons revenir bientôt !

We could not have dreamt of better place, Xaxid is just fantastic. Dusan is an absolute gentleman, respecting his guests, despite living almost next door. The room, kitchen facilities, bathroom were all exactly as they should. Clean, modest in 100% positive way, warm, welcoming and stylish. No words can describe it, I guess. You have to just experience it to fall in love with the place. Location of the hostel allows short travels to see costal region of Slovenia, at the same time giving so much privacy that makes quite tough to come back to everyday life for someone who lives in a big city. Highly recommended.

Capitato per caso durante un esperienza cicloturistica, posto molto accogliente immerso nel verde tra le montagne della Slovenia in cui cortesia e simpatia sono di casa, che aggiungere... Il tutto ad un prezzo ottimo e con colazione abbondante!
