Where smiles are on people's faces - there is Zazid!The village of Zazid has been a part of civilization since Roman times, but it still maintains its own unique character. Nestled between the cliffs of the Karst region, Zazid welcomes rock climbers, travelers, hikers, and cyclists to stop by and experience its breathtaking beauty. Here, you can take a breath of fresh air, rest, and sleep in a peaceful environment that will rejuvenate your heart and soul.
Accommodation
Hostel Xaxid offers accommodation in 4-5 bed dorms or private double rooms with shared kitchen, common room, and bathroom. Bed linen and towels are included in the price, so there is no need to bring your own sleeping bags. Our kitchens are fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, and basic ingredients like oil, vinegar, salt, and sugar are provided. We also have an oven and microwave available. Free Wi-Fi is provided, and there is the possibility of renting a separate hostel unit as an apartment for larger groups. We also provide information about local trails and landmarks at our tourist information point, and offer the option of a cold breakfast at an additional cost.

Green Hostel
At Hostel Xaxid, we strive to be an environmentally friendly hostel. Recycling is mandatory, and we heat all water using solar energy. We also minimize the use of unnecessary electric devices like dishwashing machines. We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can further improve our green practices.
Family Friendly
Hostel Xaxid is a family-friendly hostel. Our rooms are suitable for families with small children, and we provide amenities such as a small child bed, extra bed, bath tub, changing table/pillow, child carrier, child seats, seats for bikes, and toys - all available for free during your stay.

With our two children we had a short but very pleasant stay here. The couple running this hostel is really friendly and enthusiastically encouraged to provide you with everything you need. The atmosphere is homelike instantly. Though the village lacks shopping facilities, I'll give Xaxid hostel five stars.

Difficile da raggiungere (strade strette, attenzione se avete un'auto di grosse dimensioni), ma poi il gestore e' molto cortese e gentile e si dorme bene. Ideale per fare una sosta
I visited xaxid mainly because my travels are centered around big city's, here you get to know the real locals, in a real village. They made me feel like part of the family. There direction on how to get there by bus were spot on. And the people at the bus stop where lovely making sure I was on the right bus. So take a change of pace and visit.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una delle stanze con bagno privato, piccola ma abbastanza funzionale. Il posto è meraviglioso, tenuto benissimo, un bel cortiletto attrezzato con tavoli e panche in cui fare colazione o cenare, una cucina in comune con tutto il necessario per cucinare e due proprietari assolutamente splendidi,
Questa piccola struttura si inserisce bene nel contesto locale, senza stravolgerlo. L'accoglienza è famigliare e semplice, ti fa sentire a casa. Un passaggio qui è una buona scusa per scoprire la parte interna dell'Istria

Top locatie, de weg ernaartoe is niet de gemakkelijkste, maar zeer zeker de moeite waard.|Wij hadden 2 kamers, in voor de pubers met stapelbed, gedeelde douche en 1 kamer met 2 pers. bed en eigen douche, wc en balkon.|Accommodatie is erg schoon, ontbijt was goed, eigenaren super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.|Kortom ben je op zoek naar een goedkope, rustige plaats in de buurt van de kust (30 min rijden), maar toch ook wil genieten van de bergen en de hoogtes, dan ben je hier aan het goede adres
Hostel simples mas bacana, nessa vilazinha próxima a região onde a galera escala na Eslovênia. O dormitório custa 11 euros (+1 de taxa ambiental), não tem café da manhã, mas tem uma cozinha bacana pra preparar um rango. Com wifi.
Le meilleur gîte que j'ai pu trouver en Slovénie. Les hôtes sont particulièrement accueillants et disponibles. Tina parle francais ce qui est plus accessible pour les non anglophones. Il n'y a rien à redire concernant la propreté, la cuisine est tout équipée. Ne voyageant pas en voiture, ils sont venus nous chercher gratuitement à environ 15 min de la. De plus, un bus passe 4 fois par jour dans le village. D'ailleurs le village est magnifique. Si vous cherchez la sérénité c'est l'endroit rêvé. J'aimerais y retourner dès que possible.
I've been here several times during the climbing season, and I've never been disappointed. The hostel is really nice, and well-equipped (you got everything for cooking, stove, cutlery, grill) but the biggest pro is Dusan the owner, who always comes and help you whatever you need, and who is a really welcoming host.
这家酒店是有点类似民俗类的小旅馆，没有独立浴室，但是公共的浴室还是比较卫生。入住的客人碰到的都还蛮友好，工作人员也比较nice，会告知很多周围比较好的餐厅和景点。房间比较小一些，就是勉强容身，不过有性价比。
Sehr, sehr nette und entgegenkommende Besitzer, tolles Frühstück, saubere sehr schöne und stilvolle Unterkunft, bequeme Betten, extrem kinderfreundlich, jeder Wunsch wird von den Augen abgelesen, toller Ort mit reizvoller Aussicht und unendlichen Möglichkeiten sich sportlich oder kreativ zu beschäftigen, schöner Strand mit dem Auto erreichbar
