Horrible experience. We were welcomed by a smell of mold which was very pungent. And when we entered the room we encountered the most dysfunctional place we could have ever stayed at. The windows were not sealed properly so it was very cold and there was a lot of noise coming from the highway right next to hostel. We couldn't even turn on the AC unit because the batteries were beyond dead and there was noone to ask for a new pair in the 3 days that we stayed there. We tried to turn it on manually but all we did was let out a lof of dust in the room because the filters were last cleaned when Jesus Christ was still with us. The kitchen stove was not working and was also full of dust. The plates and glasses were not washed but still put in the drawers so we had to rewash everything we used. The towels we were provided were small and only one per person. The sink was also really small, but not as small as the capability of the host to keep a clean and functional room. The shower drain was also clogged and the bathroom flooded everytime we showered. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Firstly, the room was tiny and in the loft space. It had clearly been built as an afterthought since there were holes in the floor and ceiling with wires and tubes everywhere. I'm 5"9 and my boyfriend 6"1 and we kept hitting our heads on the beams as the roof was too low for us. Secondly, the toilet and shower were literally in the bedroom. There was simply a see-through glass pane separating the two; No door. My boyfriend and I are very liberal and open but that was simply a step too far. No one wants to have to watch their partner on the loo whilst laying in bed. Thirdly, the drainage was appalling. The sink was broken and didn't drain so I had to spend time fixing it. The shower........ was a nightmare. There's literally nothing stopping the water from running into the room. I was cheerily having a shower when my boyfriend shouted that there was water everywhere. EVERYWHERE. The whole bedroom was soaked. All our stuff on the floor was soaked. Fourthly, its the dustiest place I've ever stayed. I accidentally dropped a paracetamol under the bed and upon bending down to retrieve it, i noticed the state of the floor under the bed. It was coated in THICK dust and was littered with ominous waste from previous occupants. I'd have rather drunk dirty pond water than retrieve that pill. The only bonus to flooding the room was that hopefully it cleaned the floor slightly in the process. Fifthly, they dont really care about making your stay enjoyable. They wouldn't let me check in 1 hour early despite the room being ready and insisted I had to wait till the correct time. They give you a tiny hand towel and that's it. No nice extras (coffee, kettle, AC, shower gel etc) which wasn't too surprising given the price but still would have been a pleasant addition. Basically, spend more money and stay somewhere nicer. Thankfully I was only here for 2 nights but had it been more I'd have left early and gone to stay somewhere else. The worst place I've ever stayed in.

We booked 2 nights here and thoroughly regret it. Our double room with an en-suite turned out to have a shower just as part of the room and the toilet next to it. Not romantic to be in the same room while your partner uses the toilet. The badly designed shower let water spill all over the floor since there was no ledge to catch it. The place was filthy, with horrific amounts of dirt and dust under the bed. The sink didn’t work because the plug was jammed. No staff were present at all. Save yourself the trouble and pay extra for a better place. This one is awful.

Very pleasant experience. The whole facility is quite clean. The bed sheets and blankets were very well washed. The kitchen had all the needed equipment for a long-time stay in the hostel. For a small fee you can use the washing machines for your clothes. The people where very kind and the hostel felt very safe.

We stayed for one night. I was happy that it was just one night. Chamber, bed and bathroom were not entirely clean. It has everything you need for a very short stay. On the plus side: it is an easy walk to the city center.

We reserved a private room throughout booking.com months ahead, but when arrived the hostel refused to provide the room claiming they had a problem in the reservation and they are full. They refused to help us and could only offer cheap, unsatisfying dorm rooms. STAY AWAY.

We booked this one from Airbnb and it wasn't up to our expectations. Most of the pictures don't resemble the actual property. Anyway, it was clean and also the washroom was clean. We couldn't find the kitchen on the first floor and on the last day we were told that there is a kitchen on the second floor for everyone, after reporting to Airbnb. Anyway, after some tense conversation we got a certain percentage of refund. I will only recommend this if you are going with a group of people or friends.

we were in the room for 20 minutes until we found another apartment. the current owner of villa SIMONCIC MARK cannot be reached. the number written on google does not exist. on booking, the pictures do not correspond to reality, when we arrived and saw that our room did not have a single window, that the air conditioner did not have a remote control, while the terrible stench of strong spices that came from the lower floors gathered up in the attic where our room was. the toilet bowl is a meter and a half from the pillow where you should sleep without any partition. mostly one big scam. we talked to the reception where they told us that OF COURSE WE WILL GET A REFUND. and of course we didn't get a refund. now no one answers. mostly very bad people, don't book this even if you're crazy.

Es un hostel calidad precio bastante bueno. Fuimos un grupo de 12 personas y nos pusieron en 2 habitaciones de 5 y 1 de dos con cama de matrimonio. Casa habitación tiene su baño propio aunque a veces fuera de la habitación. Tiene sala común para comer y hablar y también tiene una cocina.

Confortable, pièce commune agréable et espaces extérieurs sympas mais peu de sécurité et pas une propreté incroyable. Il n'y a que deux douches dont une cassée, c'est dommage. Mais ça fait très bien l'affaire pour quelques nuits!

Not great. On arrival it looked like the house in the film Fight Club, rang the bell and was greeted by another guest... Nobody around to check in guests, one guy who had arrived the previous day ended up staying somewhere else as the same had happened to him. I managed to get checked in within a couple of hours but some had been waiting most of the day, booked via Hostelworld which asks for an ETA... Of course while waiting you can't really go get a shower, go out for food etc which really eats into the time you have, quite annoying as this place is right over the road from the huge park. Ah yes, the road, it's overlooking the main road, so don't expect a quiet nights sleep. On the plus side it is cheap, but I'd prefer to pay 25% more and have a decent place to stay. Lesson learned. My roomies and fellow guests were great though, I guess that's par for the course when you're used to sharing rooms with strangers. Amazing how the place has been left to rot when it shares the neighborhood with all of the embassies with some incredible properties on the doorstep.

Very humid, no towels or reception ever available. We experienced a fight between a few indian guys, but met a Finnish guy and drank with him. I like the concept of the vending machine for beer, except it was empty. But I slept well.

Private loft room had one tiny circle window but none in the wet room and toilet so it had no ventilation so smelled like damp and had mould. Bedding smelled too, only there for 1 night.

Por favor antes de alojarte, mira las fotos de los usuarios porque las publicadas no corresponde a la realidad! Edificio muy deteriorado tanto en el exterior como su interior, la limpieza es muy muy pobre y la sensación de sentirte estafado al llegar es muy amarga! Espero que esta opinión sirva para alertar a quien piense a este lugar como una opción de alojamiento y NO pienso que sirva para que los dueños tomen carta en mejorar ya que la única solución sería hacer un lugar nuevo!

ESTAFA! Teníamos reservada por booking una habitación por dos noches. El lugar es una absoluta mugre, digno de una película de terror. Cuando ingresamos al hotel, el recepcionista (Peter) nos dijo casi antes de “hola” que por favor viéramos la habitación antes de decidir quedarnos puesto que era muy pequeña, sin ventanas y con baño compartido. Agradecimos el ofrecimiento dado que no podía estar todo más mugriento. Nos dijo que pondría en booking que nuestra tarjeta no era válida y que entonces no se cobraría la estancia y caería la reserva. Nos proporcionó la clave de wifi para buscar un nuevo alojamiento siendo de lo más amable. Nos fuimos contentos por tener la posibilidad de alojarnos en otro lugar y evitar dormir en una ratonera. Efectivamente nos llegó el correo de booking indicando que había que modificar la tarjeta para que pueda ser cobrada la estadía como acción necesaria para poder sostener la reserva. Tal como nos indicó Peter no cambiamos la tarjeta para que la reserva se cancelara. Para nuestra sorpresa, cuando ya nos habíamos ido de la ciudad, apareció el cargo en nuestra tarjeta. Nos dirigimos al hotel dos días más tarde pues no nos contestaban los mensajes y con mucha paz Peter nos aseguró que era un error que y el lunes estaría solucionado y el reembolso efectuado. Todos sabemos cómo terminó el asunto no? Respuesta del hotel: “no podemos realizar un reembolso por políticas de cancelación”. En resumen: son unos estafadores y el lugar una completa mugre!
