Amazing place! We're literally staying in a palatial suite that has housed dignitaries through the centuries. Love the mosaic gold-tiled floors.

Sijainti upea, mutta palvelu huonoa. Siivous tehtiin vain 2 kertaa viikon aikana ja sekin huolimattomasti. Aamupala niukka. Pyysimme kerran illalla myöhään saada syödä oman pizzamme loppuun sisäpihalla, jossa ei ollut muita asiakkaita. Olisimme ostaneet kyllä juotavaa hotellin baarista. Se ei sopinut. Hotellin järjestämä lentokenttäkuljetus maksaa 55e, vaikka tavallinen taksi kentälle on vain 15-20 euroa.

This is probably my favorite hotel that I've been to when traveling the world. I try my hardest to always get a room here when I visit Slovenia as it has history, the best staff and it's near everything in the downtown area. I've been countless times in the past even with family. They have super fun apartment sized rooms for larger groups and victorian style rooms for singles. I honestly cannot express my gratitude and love for this hotel enough, it's a must stay!

من وجهة نظري ما ينفع للعوائل خصوصا للي معاه عربات اطفال وكبار سن لان الفندق كله عبارة عن عتبات نازله وعتبات طالعه والفطور عادي جدا ومافيه تنويع وما يوفي بالغرض وما راح تشبعون (تقدرون تقولون خفايف خفيفة)

Buona sistemazione in centro, prenotato per una doppia ma abbiamo ricevuto un gradito upgrade all’arrivo. Non è tutto oro quel che luccica (in bagno non funzionava il riscaldamento, colazione un po’ scarna) ma hotel storico in centro a Lubiana.

The good, the room was nice and big and breakfast food selection was nice.|The problems;|When reserving the room I requested from the website to have a quiet room, this was not given to us.|Extremely noisy hotel, there was an event the 1st night we were there, as they were packing up the people were banging doors, talking loudly in the street and banging things in cars till past 2 AM. Almost impossible to sleep after 25 hours of flying.|The room itself is quite loud, it sounded like the devil himself was boring up from the center of Earth into our bathroom at midnight or later, horrendous noise that woke us up every night.|The front desk clerk called our room AT 12:30 AM!!!! the last night when we had to wake up at 4 AM to catch a flight. Not an appropriate time to settle the bill and very disrespectful of them. |If you would like coffee at breakfast you will get one cup, then the workers disappear. No hope to get a second cup but that is it and you will never see them again. |No proper shower, just a tub with a hose and sprayer.||

The place was definitely good. It was charming, and I had a very atmospheric room with a slanting roof and unique layout. I always love to stay in these old palace-type places in Europe, but I must say this one was a better idea than the execution. It was a maze to get to the room, up multiple staircases, corridors, and elevators. The original decor of the palace had mostly been stripped away, so it was pretty minimalist inside. The staff were friendly but young and inexperienced. So, it was a nice and in a great location, but below what I expected.

Very disappointing. Dirty hotel (found a few hairs in the bed and the bathroom, a dead insect, bathtub is mold, walls of the room are sticky), and not well maintained (one lamp wasn't working, some premises are a real mess). Staff is not professional at all. As a comparison, I have been better treated in a 3 star hotel located in the Slovenian countryside...

Ta hotel je absolutno vreden obiska,cetudi samo stopite vanj. Svet se ustavi. Objame vas toplina domacnosti,ce srecate gospo Majo,lastnico,pa je to le se dodana vrednost.

Missing piece of curtain (in front of the bathroom), paper thin walls, not properly cleaned rooms (the mug and the wine glass were literally sticky), dust, congested shower cabin, and incredible cold in my room. Avoid!

La nostra suite era in realtà un vero appartamento con due camere da letto matrimoniali, un bagno con vasca e doccia e una sala da pranzo con divano e poltrone, il tutto in un palazzo antico di gran fascino

Hotel bellissimo che sa di storia. Il palazzo è caratteristico e le stanze sono veramente grandi, confortevoli e ben curate. La posizione è impareggiabile a pochi metri dal centro. Il personale poi è giovane, disponibile e davvero attento e preparato. Piccola pecca: servirebbe una colazione un po' più abbondante in linea con la qualità dell'hotel.

Very nice and cozy place, spacey rooms/apartments, well furnished and quiet. Not ok for people with disabilities, due to many stairs and elevator not reaching all floors. Parking must be booked in advance, the hotel is in a restricted area of the town, not accessible without permission.
