The Antiq Palace is in a great location but that is the only thing going for it.||We have a room on the third level but lift only goes to the second so it is then a circuitous route in and out of building to our room.||Our room has filthy walls, mould in the bathroom and horrible towels that are threadbare in places. There is a kettle and some tea bags and coffee sachets but no cups. Supposedly bathrobes supplied in the room but we could only find a belt for a bathrobe. Despite advising staff of missing items it is now day 3 of a 10 night stay and still haven’t received at least the cups.||Breakfast at 15 Euros a head would bring our bill for breakfast alone to 300 Euros. I bit much for us especially as our travel agent advised us breakfast was included.||Don’t stay here!

This is the worst hotel we have stayed in in years. Supposed to be 4stars and a member of the Small Leading Hotels’s of the World, should be good. We were told by our tour company there was room service, but there is non. The rooms are musty, mouldy and badly equipped with almost everything not working. Tv,s don’t work, nor does the phone, the bedroom light fitting had one bulb working out of six. The wooden toilet seat was split and the remedy was to tape it up with black tape. The net curtains were literally grey with dirt and grime . The breakfasts were a complete disgrace shop bought packet muffins and croissants , dried up cheese , just awful. The most surprising element was the complete lack of housekeeping. Rooms are not refreshed daily, so it’s aDIY service, make your own bed and wash your cups up yourself . When we asked why there was no service the reason they said was COVID, given this was only two weeks ago and no one in or out of the hotel were wearing masks it was almost the final insult to our intelligence. There was a dishwasher but like everything else it was broken with the door hanging open and the bottom full of stinking grey water. In the run down, over grown courtyard a glass sat on one of the tables for all the time we were there. In the grubby uninspiring lobby was a covered dish with a sign asking guests to help themselves to a croissant, in four days it remained empty with the same sad crumbs. Beware as well the lift just goes to the second floor thereafter it’s 24 steep stairs to the attic rooms, no good for anyone who is physically impaired. Yes this is an historic building in the Centre of this beautiful city but the renovation was done years ago with little sensitivity to design or charm .||Watch out for having to walk some distance from where the taxi drops you, it’s another drawback depending on weather and ability.||The only saving grace were the charming staff who tried so hard to deal with all the inadequacies of this sad tired building which offers no luxury and does not meet four star standards.

מלון מקסים המשלב ישן וחדש. המבנה מהמאה ה - 16, ומשוחבת בו אמנות מודרנית. בתקרת הבוויטה שלנו גילו ציורי קיר עתיקים. שודרגנו לסוויטה ענקית בעלת שני חדרי שינה, סלון וחדר רחצה ענק. לארוחת הבוקר המשובחת ישבנו בפטיו מקסים. המלון בעיר העתיקה קרוב להכל. יש לשים לב שאין כניסה עם רכבים בשעות מסוימות, אז להיות בקשר עם המלון

This hotel is quire, greatly situated with amazing staff.|Why quire? Because it's a 16th century palace with corridors (Hall wayd), staircases (an elevator (lift) to the second floor, 2 beautiful patios and rooms in different stile and size. |Breakfast was tasty.|The hotel is situated in the center of Old Town near all the important tourist attractions.|The staff are amazingly helpful and thoughtful

Very disappointed. Cannot recommend this property, and it certainly is not a “small luxury hotel”. We were celebrating our anniversary, and wanted a 4* hotel in Ljubljana. Booked the Antiq Palace because of it’s location and website description/photos. We want to say that the staff are great. But, the management/ownership are letting down the staff and guests. The property is in much need of upgrades and repairs. Covid is no excuse. We know hotels that took advantage of Covid to upgrade their properties. This property was once a beautiful palace, it has the potential to be one again. (3 nights; Sept. 2-5)

Wunderschönes Hotel, jedoch total ungepflegt, mit wenig Aufwand wäre es ein Juwel. Zimmer schön gross, ruhig, Bett bequem, Glühlampen defekt im Bad, drei Spots eine brennt, Vorhang fehlt die hälfte, Sonnenschirme vermodert, Empfang unbeholfen.

I came for a Zen massage today with Ayla and it was fantastic. She was very patient and ensured that I was comfortable throughout the process. I would definitely recommend the spa.

Non abbiamo trovato la camera che abbiamo prenotato, le foto non corrispondevano e neanche i servizi. Mancava l'aria condizionata, la vasca e il parquet. Il pavimento, orrendo, si sollevava e alcune piastrelle si muovevano. Il soffitto era pieno di ragnatele, una finestra aveva la tenda rotta. Ciliegina sulla torta, avevamo all'interno della camera la pompa dell'acqua che ogni tanto partiva facendo un rumore fastidioso. Faccio presente che abbiamo prenotato una suite, pagandola 240,00 €uro a notte senza colazione e da una struttura così bella ci aspettavamo decisamente di più.

Un seul mot « fuyez » C’est la pire expérience « hotel ». Tout est délabré, les fenêtres de la chambre ne s’ouvraient pas par manque d’entretien. On promet quelqu’un qui ne vient jamais. il n’y a aucun service. Les chambres ne sont pas nettoyées. Raison invoquée et paradoxale « la cause est le Covid »

This hotel is advertising their apartments on Airbnb. Their accommodation description there is completely misleading. On my arrival, I was offered accommodation that was nothing as advertised in size and appearance. The owner was rude and unwilling to listen. I had to engage Airbnb to get help with the refund. It was extremely unpleasant and stressful, I advise caution when booking this hotel.

Horrible experience No air conditioner a fan that worked horribly. The Service at the hotel never did anything about it. The suite was an apartment with low ceilings and stairs to a second floor not worth going. Very poor breakfast. The never cleaned the room. Asked for a new one and they said the hotel was full. I suspect other rooms were run down and closed since we only bumped into 1 other couple the whole stay DON’T GO!!!

Nice unique style, different feelings. The hotel can book a car by appointment, and the location is excellent. A good choice for a vacation.

Posizione ottima per girare la città a piedi, di lato alla biblioteca e a due passi da uno dei ponti per arrivare alla città vecchia.|Struttura veramente molto bella, un elegante palazzo all’interno ben arredato e ricco di charme.|camere molto spaziose, ne avevamo due e una aveva spazio per due divani e un tavolino, mentre l’altra era più stretta ma lunga, ospitava stanza con wc e stanza con doccia che è una cosa che adoro!|Il problema però è che non ho trovato una comodità fondamentale, che reputo basilare anche nella mia vita di tutti giorni a casa: la doccia aveva il soffione ma non funzionante, quindi era possibile utilizzare solo il doccino. Tra l’altro era anche rotto il piano su cui appoggiare saponi e bagnoschiuma, quindi tutto da poggiare per terra. Peccato perché si tratta veramente di un dettaglio che l’avrebbe fatta diventare un’esperienza perfetta, per me però importante.|Il prezzo comunque in rapporto alla struttura è ridicolo, ho pagato molto di più a Koper per una struttura inferiore.
