This is a boutique hotel that appears to have been converted from a local apartment building into hotel rooms with limited changes to the design/layout of the place. Service is good. Breakfast has limited selection and is located in a crowded small room. Rooms are modern and renovated yet small and don’t have all the conveniences of a recently renovated space (i.e., extra plugs for phones, computers, spaces for suitcases, etc). No parking is provided at the hotel; however, cars could be parked on the street with a 2 hour limit during the day (although very difficult to find a spot) or in the garage for a fee a few blocks away. We booked hotel online with a deferred payment arrangement and didn’t realize until it was booked that the hotel doesn’t accept credit cards and only accepts cash (be aware!). Hotel halls have an appearance of a hostel with a limited common space but clean.

Non si paga con carta di credito!! Siamo nel 2022...! Però c'è la macchina dove con commissione puoi prelevare i contanti.

Camera super tecnologica, spaziosa e con doccia grande. Pulizia ottima, personale gentile e con gradito cadeau al check out. Struttura esternamente discreta ma sorprendente al suo interno. A 10 min a piedi dal centro è stato una bella esperienza.

Eccellente hotel a due passi dal centro. Personale gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione. In zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Camere grandi e rifinite benissimo. Colazione a buffet abbondante e molto assortita.

Great place, great location, very close to the historic center of Ljubljana, a 7 minute walk. The staff is very friendly and nice, and it's a 3 star + hotel in every aspect of the services. The breakfast it's the best deal for 6 euros/person. I definitely recommend Atelier Hotel for everyone who's visiting Ljubljana.

We are totally satisfied with the hotel, staff and everything. If we are in the city again, we'd like to go to the hotel again. Positives: - The hotel is in perfect place. We just walked into the city center, it was only a few minutes. - Helpful and kind staff, 0-24 hours reception service. - Family business - Rooms are really modern with beautiful design. Nice paintings everywhere in the hotel, you can buy it if you like it. Price included under the paintings. We can open the door with magnetic card, digital light swithes are inside the room. - Clean and well-equipped room and bathroom. - Comfortable bed - Quick wi-fi connection - Breakfast is full with good quality food, it was delicious. You can use the coffee machine any time whole day. Coffee was good. - ATM inside the hotel - Good communication between the guest and the hotel for example: hotel can't accept credit card, just cash, they inform the guest before arrival, so it's ok, if you forget it, you can pick up cash, because they have ATM inside the hotel. - Middle price category Some little things that are not positive: - Unfortunately less power socket have inside the room to charge phones or we didn't find it - Soundproofing is not very good, our room was close to the breakfast area and early in the morning (during they prepare the breakfast food) sometimes it was loud. - You can pay only with cash (it's a family business, we understand it and we prepared the cash before we arrived, so it was not problem) - Hotel suggest costable parking possibility, but it's not just the hotel's parking place. It's behind the hotel, inside courtyard. For longer cars it's not a perfect solution, there is not much space between two cars. We used parking garage instead of this possibility. Thank you for staying there, it was really great. We'll go again next time.

Rooms are great with plenty of room to sit around and comfortable beds. Service is friendly, english + Slovene and helpful. Location is good and within 10 minutes of the park, bus station and main downtown area. Only drawback is the rooms+hallway dynamic is odd with some rooms being very close to reception and very little space to move around. But it wasn't an issue for us. Good hotel, would stay again.

Posizione veramente comoda sia da raggiungere da fuori città sia per muoversi a piedi verso il centro. Parcheggio interno gratuito. Personale molto disponibile, per quanto riguarda la colazione molto meglio la parte salata. Camera grandi e con tutti i confort necessari, le camere sono su a piano terra e primo piano (ascensore non presente)

Wir waren im August für eine Übernachtung im Atelier Hotel. Nicht von der Fassade täuschen lassen. Das Hotel bietet viel und vor allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Zudem ist es zentrumsnah. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Innenstadt. Alle technischen Annehmlichkeiten lassen sich smart bedienen. Das Bad und auch die Dusche selbst ist sehr geräumig. Das ganze Interieur ist modern aber nicht aufdringlich. Neben einem kleinen Kühlschrank, gibt es einen Wasserkocher. Tee- und Kaffeebeutel liegen parat. Zudem verfügt das Hotel über einen kleinen Frühstücksraum mit Buffet guter Auswahl. Gegen einen überschaubaren Aufpreis kann man sicher im Innenhof parken. Das ganze Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und angenehm freundlich. Ich würde hier uneingeschränkt immer wieder buchen. T.F.

Very clean, well appointed rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is worth 6 euros. On the edge of the city centre but easily walkable to anywhere in central Ljubljana. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Nice central hotel. Mistake was made by hotel on 1st night where instead of a twin room, we were given a double room. They initially said it was our mistake until friend who booked room showed email specifying twin and not double so that was a bit annoying. They rectified it the next day but personally I'd have offered a discount or a late check out as an apology. Being told you've to share a bed with someone you don't want to share a bed with isn't good practice for a hotel. In saying that, the rooms are spacious, clean and facilities are very good. Could do with uht milk instead of powdered creamer though. The rooms by the stairs are very noisy, I'd request another if you're a light sleeper! They give a little parting gift of water and cola along with Slovinian salt. Really nice touch but I'd give it as a welcome gift and not a parting gift. We were flying so couldn't bring the drinks through security but would have loved to have had the drinks for the room during our stay. Just a thought & would stay again.

Really good quality rooms, have to say better than 4-5stars hotel. The only bad experience was breakfast, what was included and they have ask to pay for pure water!!!! This has destroyed all of good experience, principally not akceptable.
