Austria Trend Hotel Ljubljana

Chose the hotel not realizing it was far from the city, only convention center nearby and some restaurants around. Poor choice for someone that wants to walk the center of the city. Hotel was modern, large groups came and went, very small and lousy cafe/restaurant with nearly no choices and fun by what seemed like students who spent time talking to each other.

Parking issues

Dear Alpe Adria, thank you for taking the time to write a review. My apologies for the parking issues you endured. We have some parking spots around the hotel for the hotel guests that make a reservation with a parking spot, but there are also several parking options close to the hotel. Unfortunately, none of them are free. On your next visit, Front Office staff will be happy to explain all the options to you, including more favourable rates. Udeležil sem se strokovnega posveta o hoji, ki sta ga organizirala Ministrstvo za zdravje in Fakulteta za šport. Bilo je izredno zanimivo, še posebej "praktični " del, ko so se predstavljale dobre prakse o stimuliranju učencev, da hodijo v šolo peš. Pri tem bi naj v bodoče pomagali poleg družinskih članov tudi prostovoljci. Pohvalna je tudi kvalitetna in hitra postrežba osebja hotela. Priporočam. P.S.: V kletnih prostorih imajo tudi savno, kjer se lahko sprostite. privoščite si lahko tudi razne masaže. Treba poskusit.

This is my second stay in this hotel. It's very clean and cozy. The room is spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable. Lobby is big and modern. Stuff is very friendly and polite. Breakfast is okay, you can find something you like. The only thing I don't like is THE VIEW - always on the side where you look at old buildings and containers :) All in all, I'm satisfied.

A very decent 4-star hotel with large rooms (I really liked my room), good breakfast and a good lobby bar with friendly service. Unfortunately, there is no free parking and gym for the guests. All these "extras" need to be paid for on top of the accomodation. The hotel is slightly further away from the city centre, but there are several bus stations nearby and one can reach the city centre even on foot. This takes about 30-40 mins.
