Tolles Hotel mit nur wenigen Zimmern in Traumlage und mit atemberaubendem Ausblick auf die Triester Bucht.|Das Hotel ist in das Camp Belvedere integriert und liegt am Rand des Naturschutzgebietes Strunjan.|Die Zimmer, das Bad, die Rezeption, der Wellnessbereich und das angrenzende Restaurant sind modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.|Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein.|In der Poolanlage stehen für Hotelgäste kostenfrei Liegen und Sonnenschirm zur Verfügung. Der Pool wird nicht nur von den Hotel - und Campgästen genutzt, weshalb am Wochenende dort Trubel wie im Freibad herrscht. Falls das jemanden stört: der Stand (mit Infrastruktur) ist etwa 800 m entfernt. Das ist zu Fuß generell zu schaffen.|Allerdings ist der Rückweg sehr steil über asphaltierte Sepentinen und liegt in der prallen Sonne.|Wir haben daher auch mal das Auto genommen, um zum Strand zu fahren. Am Ende der Sepentinen (Sackgasse) ist ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz, hier sind ausreichend Stellplätze vorhanden (auch im Schatten).||Das Hotel ist die perfekte Basis für Erkundungen der slowenischen Küste : Portoroz, Piran und Koper liegen in einem Radius von ca. 15 Kilometern.|Man sollte unbedingt mobil sein (Auto, Motor- oder Fahrrad), zumal als gastronomische Einrichtungen „nur“ das angrenzende Restaurant Kamin oder die Poolbar (Snacks) zur Verfügung stehen und andere Restaurants fußläufig kaum erreichbar sind.||Das Einzige, was zu bemängeln wäre: die Auflagen für die Liegen auf der Terrasse der Juniorsuite waren auf beiden Seiten schmutzig und fleckig, weshalb wir sie nicht benutzen wollten. |Und 5 € pro Person für die Nutzung einer sehr in die Jahre gekommenen Minigolfanlage (Betonbahnen rissig und teilweise gebrochen, Kiefernadeln überall, Beschriftungen nicht mehr erkennbar) ist zu viel…..

We stayed 5 nights in the Hotel Cliff in a room with a balcony and ocean view. It was absolutely gorgeous to look out at the Adriatic Sea with it's sailboats and ships coming into port. The restaurant at the hotel was fabulous--so good we ate dinner there 3 times. Breakfast came with the room and it was definitely worth the extra fee! They had a choice of a buffet or a sit-down breakfast, so we enjoyed having our breakfast served each morning. The staff was very helpful with everything we asked and very friendly.||We did not have a car, but it was an easy walk (downhill) into the lovely little town of Izola and a little tougher walk (uphill) back. We learned to use the local bus system and found it easy and inexpensive. Most people had a car, so that would not be necessary. There is a beautiful oceanside walk at the bottom of the hill which goes around the entire peninsula and makes for a great outing. ||The spa was also worthwhile, although as older Americans we were a little taken back by the coed nature of all the facilities. Europeans are much less modest than we are! It wasn't a problem at all, just a surprise! The outdoor pool and other facilities were not open yet, so I can't comment on that. The indoor pool was perfect for a quick swim.

The hotel is very well situated and offers all amenities one could wish for.|The rooms are spacious and bright. Some have an ocean view which is incredible. |To me, the highlight of the hotel is the culinary offer. One can truly treat oneself to some fine Istrian food. At breakfast, one can chose from several different options (service at the table) or have some from the buffet (self service). Upon request, some dietary requirements can be met (gluten free bread, vegan options, …). Also, the evening menu offers a selected choice of Istrian food. All dishes are made to order using ingredients of high quality, taste and texture are well balanced. Service staff (evening & breakfast) do a wonderful job in making one feel welcome - swift, attentive and yet discreet. Great compliments! |It has a very well equipped gym as well. The spa area has three different types of sauna, an infrared cabin and one can book various different treatments.||The hotel is ideal to enjoy both, active vacation as well as a few days of spa & wellness days.

Zimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen Frühstück sehr gut Ausblick der Hammer Gegend zum Radfahren super. Auf kroatisch Seite braucht man ein Mountainbike wegen Steine am Weg
