I had an unpleasant experience at a restaurant recently. I inquired about having something to eat and drink, but the waiter only offered me a drink, whereas another table that arrived after me was served a meal. When I questioned why I was only offered a drink, the explanation seemed rather ridiculous. This made me feel very uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the service at the restaurant. Despite the possibility that my mode of transportation (arriving on a bike) may have been a factor, I found the experience to be quite disappointing. While the food at the restaurant may be good, the overall service left much to be desired.

We LOVED Majerca! My husband and I stayed here for a mini honeymoon after getting married at Lake Bled Castle. This was the perfect hotel to come relax at afterwards! The room was relaxing with the big bed, good AC, and fantastic sauna. The hotel staff is amazing! The two ladies (one being Kristina) in the morning were so helpful! I brought my floral bouquet from my wedding and they immediately offered to bring a vase to our room to help preserve them a little longer. Both mornings we stayed my husband was a bit hungover and they were more than accommodating with offering to bring breakfast to our room for him. We had dinner our last night there and it was absolutely fantastic! Sven was super nice and really seemed to know the wines and drinks. The location was beautiful and within a close distance to the beautiful lake Bohinj.

Great dinner with really exceptional service. Chef Timi excels at the simple plates yet complex flavors. Sommelier knows his game and the wine cart is great. Very cozy terrace with beautiful vibe. Totally recommended.

Outstanding - gorgeous location, Bohinj is stunning. The Majer’ca is a really beautiful hotel, comfortable bed, the bedroom was lovely with a great view of the lake. We dined in the hotel every night - food was superb. Very highly recommend both the hotel & restaurant.

Great coffee. Lovely staff, wonderful breakfasts. Super location near the lake. Thanks to the lovely girls that went above and beyond to pack us some food for our train trip as well as the delicious croissants.

For me, staff, and service are one of the most important aspects for a hotel. Breakfast is chosen from the menu and even though the taste was good for the options that were brought to us, we never received many of our options like the coffee and eggs and jam, even though we reminded them. The staff was also rude and in the evening they locked us out of the common area. The room we stayed in was a family room and I dont recommend it for adults.

We had an amazing three nights at Hotel Majerca. The location and setting were amazing. We loved the garden, and could've spent all day sitting out there. The restaurant, food and wine were exceptional - like really amazing! Sven in particular was a great sommelier, and very informed and passionate about Slovenian wines. Great service and attention to detail.

Шикарный отель, милый персонал. Жили в номере с сауной 2 дня, все было комфортно и качественно. Единственное, что можно пожелать, это более доступные цены 😜 200 € за номер даже с сауной многовато. Ресторан приятно удивил и ценами и качеством. Заплатили за ужин 65 € на двоих, ели вкуснейший стейк рибай и суп из спаржи. Повторам огромное спасибо.

Astonishing views. Good service and nice (but pretty small) rooms, we rented one with a balcony with a great view. Breakfast was incredible, but dinner at the restaurant was expensive and very subpar.

We stayed here for a weekend and I can not give more stars but if i could i definitely would!! The location and the hosts absolutely wonderful but the food is beyond amazing. Recommend 100%! If you go around Bohinj, stop here! Thank you Dusan and Majerca team! ❤️

The rooms were modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast setup was fantastic - no buffet style, just a menu of delicious options made with fresh ingredients. The scrambled eggs and omelette were great, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in a room 12 that has a big terrace and a private sauna and enjoyed it a lot. ||Food was amazing, staff super friendly. I love the cosmetics they use in the rooms, too (famous French brand but probably not alloud to mention it:)||Check the prices before booking - we got half board on the hotel booking page (directly) for a price of BB at the booking.com so it is worth checking more options.|

Fabulous boutique hotel situated just outside a quiet village but with easy access to the ski resorts, Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled. The hotel is on quite a busy road so a room at the back is the better option. Our room had a balcony and private sauna. Highly recommended.
