Restavrant is overpriced to say at least. All the other asspects were great. Normal lunch would be around 30-45€ per person. I cant comment on hotel part.

The reviews are accurate. This is one of the best Marriott Bonvoy experiences in the world. Yes, the hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. But it is the Slovenian people who work here that make the experience magical. Iris, behind the bar, provided a series of recommendations that made our one night in Ljubljana amazing. First, she explained and provided tastes of three different local white wines. That in itself was cool, but it got even better. Iris offered a recommended itinerary for us: take the hotel shuttle (8Euro for two of us) into the town, then walk around the castle and down into the city center. See the bridges and all of the magic of the evening in Ljubljana. You must eat at Figovec, she said. Classic Slovenian food at a good price. Without reservations on a Wednesday, we were very fortunate to get in at 8pm. It was packed! But it was so worth it. We also followed Iris’ suggestion to take an official taxi back to the hotel. The taxi was only 10Euro! So yes, this hotel is a bit away from the city center, but it is a resort experience and truly so affordable to transport to the city. One more bit about the staff. Max, who also serves as the bellman, was our hotel shuttle driver. He was so kind, and shared knowledge of the city, even dropping us at the castle since we were the only guests in the shuttle. Iris and Max made our brief one night stay in Ljubljana an unforgettable experience. This is a personalized resort level experience. We would like to come back and stay an entire week.

We stayed here for one night before our departure from Ljubljana Airport the next morning. The hotel was clean and comfortable; we appreciated the American mattresses (ie one instead of two separate ones, which is more common in Europe) and the nice bathroom and great water pressure. Breakfast in the morning was a well-stocked buffet, although it was a little tricky to find (down below the ground floor and around a corner). We were also happy that parking for our car was included, and that we had a nice view of trees/forest outside our room's window.||We chose this hotel since it was close to the highway and made for quick access to the airport the next morning. It took us about 20 minutes to get there for our flight. It's not all that close to the Old Town and tourist areas of the city, but since we had our own car, we drove (10 or 15 minutes) and were able to find parking outside the tourist/pedestrian only areas fairly easily, even on a Saturday.
