One of the best luxury hillside cottage I've ever stayed.. Room condition is very clean and quiet,kindly enough staff.. Family business and boss is so nice^~^ Strongly recommend!

Garni Hotel Berc is an excellent base for visiting Bled and the surrounding area. The accommodation is spotless. Our room was spacious with a wonderful balcony where we sat most evenings sipping wine from the hotel's honesty bar while we watched the sun set behind the mountains and then were able to gaze at the night sky which was unspoilt by light pollution. ||We slept really well here. The beds are really comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area a short walk from the bars and restaurants around the lake. So you are away from any noise. ||The breakfasts are amazing with friendly waitresses continually replenishing the supply of fresh bread, cold plates, and hot food. Just what you need to set you up for the day. ||We were also able to do some great long hikes in several directions without having to use the car. Lake Bled is a five-minute walk downhill along a footpath if you want to have a gentle walk around the lake. There is a 6km route round the lake which takes about an hour and a half.||We were welcomed at Garni Hotel Berc by the amazing Luka who went out of his way to make our 10-day stay perfect. Luka gave us such brilliant advice and tips for walks from the front door. Having such a warm, friendly, and helpful host really made our holiday special. Thanks Luka.||Walking highlights include visiting Koca Na Talezu, a mountain hut with fantastic views over Bled. They serve beer, wine, soft drinks and food. Getting to the hut involves a steep section towards the end. It's about a 14km round trip from the door of Garni Hotel Berc. Ask Luka for directions; he will be only too happy to help.||Then there is the rustic farmhouse charm of Monika Poklukar in a small village also accessible via footpaths from the front door of the hotel. There you can sample homemade beer and locally produced cheese. Amazing.||And if you want a short walk really close to the hotel you can climb a small hill called Straza. From the front door at Garni Hotel Berc turn left then follow the lane until it becomes a track. There you will find footpaths up to the top offering great views of Lake Bled. There is also a chairlift (which wasn't open when we were there) which also takes you to the top where there is the option of taking a toboggan all the way down to the bottom. ||And Garni Hotel Berc is at the centre of all this. Ideally positioned for a perfect holiday. Recommended.

Il posto è ben curato. Si mangia bene. Danno un' ottima ed abbondante colazione. La posizione è strategica. Il personale è gentile. Si trova vicino a diversi punti di interesse. Di fronte c'è un comodo parcheggio gratuito. Si vedono le montagne.

We booked, some time in advance, to cover some of the accommodation for a family wedding. The owner (Luka) and staff were charm personified; rooms very comfortable, breakfast generous and excellent, and the location a short ( downhill) walk to the centre of Bled. We could not have asked for more, and would love to come back.

Gewoon heel goed, zeer vriendelijke mensen die hard werken om het de gasten het naar de zin te maken. Zeer nette en schone kamer en goed ontbijt met heerlijke koffie. Vanuit dit hotel loop je binnen een paar minuten naar allerlei vermaak (inclusief stoeltjeslift met rodelbaan). Een echte aanrader 👍 Ook voor degenen die met een bijzondere auto komen heeft de gastheer oog en helpt je met de juiste parkeerplaats.

Très bien situé proche de tout, les vélos pour enfants et parents sont un vrai plus. Le personnel est au top, le petit dej extra avec vue sur le jardin verdoyant. Les chambres sont grandes, pleines de charme et très propres. A faire et à refaire

Great location near to the lake with a good breakfast buffet. A bit disapointted by the room itself, not a lot of space (we couldn't open our 2 suitcases simultaneously) and we felt the springs in one of the two mattresses. It also happened twice that we came back from our hikes without room being cleaned.

The Garni Hotel Berc is Bled is a great place to stay when visiting Lake Bled. It's in a good, quiet location with on-site parking. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The owner and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations on things to see/do and restaurants with good food. Breakfast was an outstanding European style breakfast with meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, eggs, coffee, tea, etc. The hotel also offers laundry services which was outstanding. Our clothes were returned to our room hung up or folded and we were surprised to find out that the owner of the property did our laundry.||It was delightful to stay at this property and I highly recommend staying here if you are the Lake Bled area.

A quiet family-run hotel with comfortable rooms, high walkablity, and supper yummy breakfast. The staff were very friendly and informative. Next time I am in the area, this will be my first choice for accommodation! Why 4 stars on the location? Because it is not within view of Lake Bled, and i know that is important to some travelers. It was a few minutes walk from hotel to lake and social scene. For me, this was the perfect distance from the bustle of town - accessible without being in the middle of it.

Absolutely brilliant place, its a family run place, very friendly, extremely helpful staff. Fabulous location, close to just about everything in Bled. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended, I will book again although maybe this time I wont drive all the way there.......

5 stars across the board for Garni Hotel Berc. The hotel looks like a lovely cottage with lots of wood trim and wonderful balconies. There are also flowers that give a nice touch. It near everything but also in an area that's quiet. It's a quick walk to the lake and not far from the many restaurants in town. The breakfast is wonderful with a great selection of fruit (bannanas, oranges, apricots, watermelon, cantelope), vegtables (tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers), cheeses, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled) and meats. There are cereals, yogurt, and a wide variety of breads and pasteries. The rooms are large by European standards and comfortable. There is ample parking for guests. They also have solar panels, I love they are eco friendly. The only thing I would change is to have a few more outlets in the room (there are 3 in the room and 1 in the bathroom).

Sehr familiär geführtes Hotel mit "uriger" Einrichtung. Das Zimmer war geräumig, ebenso das Bad - alles war sehr sauber mit Klimaanlage und Balkon. Das Frühstück war für uns auch sehr nett und liebevoll angerichtet und wir konnten sogar Fahrräder für eine Rundfahrt gratis ausborgen.

The location in Bled is excellent, quiet and close to the lake. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was wide and comfortable. The breakfast served in a large room is perfect. We had a balconee. The staff is very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful place to stay in Bled. Very clean and the owner and host were fabulous! The breakfast was delicious. It was really nice to get off the main road with the large hotels. Our room had a balcony with flowers and overlooked a garden. -That was growing asparagus. It was nice and quiet.
