Grand Koper Hotel

I spent 4 nights (July 2021) in Grand Koper hotel. It is a recently (May 2021) fully renovated hotel. If you find old hotel on the Internet (former name was just Koper) - please disregard the info and all of the old reviews! ||||The hotel is exceptionally clean, with all amenities one would expect from the 4* hotel. ||||I have only a superlatives for the service, staff effort and kindness. From the reception desk (Luka, Andreja), to the really nice restaurant (manager Sergej, waiter Josip) - everybody was doing their best to make my stay unforgettable. Sorry that I can't remember the names of all of the staff who ended up helping me along the way. I had some unfortunate family reason to visit Koper (from Canada), and I was successful in my visit because the reception desk crew has helped me a lot with necessary information, computer services (printing) etc.|| ||Btw, I recommend the grilled octopus main for dinner - supported by the Vino-Koper malvazija wine!

Very nice staff, great having two places to eat here. Downsides are no free parking that is convenient (seems to be every hotel in Koper, so not abnormal, but surprising) and the room I had was quite small. No desk is also a bit surprising in this day and age.

Dear Dorian, thank you for your comment. As the majority of old city centers in Europe, Koper is also limited with parking spots. Hopefully there will be another garage build in the future. Really happy that you'd enjoyed your stay with us. Looking forward to seeing you again. All the best!

Wonderful hotel! The location couldn't be better, the view of the sea from my room was breathtaking. The style and ambience is one of a kind, the whole interior is super-lux. Breakfast was plenty and we've had a splendid dinner at the restaurant. Staff and cleanliness is also top notch!

I had the pleasure to stay on the opening of the hotel after refurbishment. Nice location next to the Marina. Super gesture helping with the car, moving to their own private parking. Great lobby, connected to excellent restaurant. Nice terrace, quiet and comfortable with different sitting options. The room is modern, a bit small if you are carrying large suitcases, for one person works very well. Even bathroom came with a window, I like that. I can’t remember breakfast honestly but I am sure that it was fine. Good service in the restaurant, enough to English skills to communicate with no issue. Great welcome and you got yourself a customer when visiting koper.
