The rooms are quite old-fashioned and it was cold in my room. However, the staff was very nice, breakfast was ok and the location is not bad. It is not easily walkable to the centre though. I can recommend this place.

Hallo, das Hotel Bau in Maribor ist erst einmal ein sehr gepflegtes Haus mit großem Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Die Zimmer sind überschaubar, praktisch und sauber. Allerdings fehlt dort für ein 4****Hotel ein Kühlschrank und Boxspringbetten. WLAN Verbindung auf dem Zimmer gut, jedoch ist der Flur bei Betreten von anderen Gästen relativ hellhörig. TV mit internationalen Kanälen ist sehr angenehm. Die Matratzen ebenso gute Qualität. Das Hotel liegt am Stadtrand und ist relativ weit vom Centrum entfernt. Im Hotel gibt es leider kein Restaurant und in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel auch nicht. Man ist also auf sein eigenes Auto, ein Taxi oder dem Linienbus angewiesen. Der wiederum hält direkt längsseits des Hotels und für € 2,- kann man mit dem Bus bequem ins Zentrum fahren. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist reichhaltig und mit großer Auswahl. Kaffee ist lecker und gut. Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Mir hat der Aufenthalt gut gefallen und ich würde das Hotel Bau ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen. Man fühlt sich wohl im Hotel Bau Maribor. Gute Reise !

Beautiful hotel. Close to sights. Cozy. Need to put lights on in hallway or dark.|Delicious breakfast. Everyone friendly. Front desk spoke English. Comfortable lobby to sit enjoy a coffee. Room was very comfortable and hot water for showers. Everything was immaculate.

Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut, man hatte alles was man braucht(Säfte, Müsli, Verschiedene Brotsorten, usw...) Personal war wirklich sehr nett dafür waren die Zimmer nicht Klimatisiert weswegen es sehr warm im Zimmer war.

Abbiamo soggiornato solo per una notte durante il viaggio in Romania, camere eccellenti e pulitissime, ottima colazione per tutti i gusti. Super consigliato.

We just finished up a stay at Hotel Bau, and wanted to share with everyone, what a Great Experience we had. My family reserved 2 rooms for us since they live locally, and the staff at Hotel Bau provided us with rooms that were next to each other. The rooms were Absolutely Fantastic! Large rooms that are spotless, and with that is a Great Breakfast that will surely satisfy everyone's taste. Breakfast is from 7-9 weekdays and 7-10 on weekends. If you are in need of internet service during your stay that is also provided, and works excellent. Whether it is a 1 night stay or longer as we did, you will feel Welcome at Hotel Bau.
