We loved our stay at Hotel Bohinj, from the design and quality to the location. You are just steps from the stunning Lake and its beauty. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was delicious - make sure you have a freshly cooked omelette! The fire pit in the evening is a great shout - they also had live music when we were there which was a lovely touch for some atmosphere. The spa facilities are lush, and if I was being really picky, could be a bit bigger for the space they have. A perfect stay and start to our Slovenian holiday! Thanks to all the staff for their incredible hospitality!!

Fantastic hotel one of the best ive stayed in. Rooms super clean with great views over the valley and towards the lake. Location is fantastic literally a 5 min walk to the lakeside. We were very glad we didn't have to queue for the busses at the end of each day. Breakfast is outstanding with a range of hams cheese cakes and hot dishes. A toaster at breakfast would be appreciated. There is also a chef on hand to make a r range of egg based dishes. Spa area is also very good and is included for 2 hours each day. Overall a fantastic hotel in a great location. Can't wait to return one day.

This is a stylish, recently renovated hotel. We really appreciated all the design touches - so much thought went into every little detail from door handles to staff T-shirts. ||The location is fantastic, mere steps away from the beautiful Bohinj lake. The hotel garden is lovely - we really enjoyed our evenings by the fire getting to know other guests. ||The room are big, spacious and very quiet! It was so nice to be able to relax on our holiday for once and not get woken up at the crack of dawn by the cleaners slamming the hoover against the neighbouring bedroom walls - thank you! ||Made use of the lovely spa as well - great way to relax after long hikes, we just wish the opening hours were a little longer. ||The breakfast was good, with a lot of variety. ||The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The same can't be said for the rest of the staff though - with the breakfast and the spa staff being a bit cold and stand offish.

We staid in Hotel Bohinj for two weeks last August. It was one of the best vacations we had with my wife. In many ways, this was because of the hotel. It is situated in wonderful place. The staff is supportive and hard-working. Chef of the hotel's restaurant is a magician. Spa area is also good.

Wir sind mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr angereist und konnten bereits vor der offiziellen Check-In Zeit unser Zimmer beziehen - vielen Dank für die Flexibilität! Das Hotel/ unser Zimmer ist schön, sauber und wohnlich eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels am Hang ist ein Traum, besonders toll fanden wir die Lounge in der Wiese mit Blick Richtung See und Triglav. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir verbrachten sehr schöne Ferientage im Hotel Bohinj.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. Can’t say enough about the friendliness of all of the staff. Wish we would have booked for another night. Very relaxing with amazing views. 2 hours utilizing the spa facilities was included and was a big bonus. We enjoyed spending time out by the fire pit looking at stars and during the day spent time at the lake. The included breakfast was truly enjoyable as well…eggs, omelet station, fruit, bacon, sausage, cheeses, yogurt, breads, cakes &’cookies, smoothies, juice, coffee, tea, champagne and more. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious as well. It was an easy bus ride from the train station to the resort but you can take a taxi as well. Was here with my adult daughter and had a wonderful time. I will definitely be coming back with my husband but good for families too as there is a big outside area for them plus the lake.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel with an excellent location next to stunning Lake Bohinj. Staff were all professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable with good beds and showers. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Lovely relaxing ambiance in garden for drinks too. We will hopefully be back one day!

Looks even better than the pictures. Super clean, calm and welcoming. The spa is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious. We also went during their 3y anniversary which was an amazing night - free slovenian food & drinks, nice music. We can't wait to come back

Hotel ultramoderno, di recente ristrutturato. Tuttavia ho trovato molto scomodi diversi aspetti. Primo nelle camere è buio non c'è illuminazione sufficiente in nessuna parte, l'ingresso non ha neanche un punto luce. Le tende non oscurano sifficientemente per cui la mottina ci si sveglia presto. Pur avendo una stanza spaziona non c'era neanche una poltroncina comoda con tavolino. Insomma struttura troppo da architetto designer e molto poco comoda e pratica. Per dirne una: il bollitore e relativi accessori erano dentro l'armadio, decisamente scomodo! Bello il giardino con poltrone a divanetti, ma afflitto dalla musica a palla che a me risulta molto fastidiosa in un luogo incantato come il lago Bohjni. Ho cenato al ristorante una sola volta e il filetto che ho preso era durissimo e non mi hanno fornito un coltello idoneo, oltre ai prezzi decisamente alti. Le altre sere ho mangiato altrove.|Un complimento ai ragazzi della reception che mi hanno consigliato dove mangiare bene e le escursioni alla mia portata.

Debated a 4 or 5 star review because the hotel was beautiful, service and food was great and we had a wonderful time. However, a few small points of feedback: - the air conditioning isn't very powerful. While it's good for an eco hotel, we did run particularly hot at night. Would be good if the rooms could just be a tad cooler in hotter weather. - the hair dryer in our room had a faulty connection so didn't really work properly. - the shower didn't drain properly. The hotel fixed this for us very quickly with no issues but there was a funny smell like there was a problem with the drains that lingered afterwards. - would be good if the hotel restaurant opened a little later for dinner. We arrived late on the first day and wanted to shower and get ready for dinner but didn't have time as the very last sitting was 9pm. While this isn't exactly early, with guests arriving from all over Europe and people being on the lake all day, a slightly later sitting would have been appreciated. - the coffee really wasn't great. In a hotel this grand there should really be coffee making facilities in the room that extend beyond packets of instant coffee and no milk. At breakfast the machines produced not very nice coffee very slowly in small amounts. - would be useful to have a towel rental service for the lake as we did not bring our own towels. - the mini bar is pretty expensive and there's no price list anywhere? 5 euros for a bottle of water! Most hotels of this standard provide water for free. All of these are really quite minor in the grand scheme. The room & hotel were beautiful, the spa was lovely and the location really is idyllic. Staff are polite and helpful, and we found the food really good. Would definitely come back!

Nicht zu empfehlen für Familien Wir hatten einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel als Familie und sind sehr enttäuscht. Trotz mehrfacher Bitte um ein schönes Zimmer wurden wir in einem kleinen, dunklen Zimmer ohne Balkon untergebracht. Das Zimmer war keineswegs für einen Familienurlaub geeignet und entsprach in keiner Weise unseren Erwartungen. Dies war besonders enttäuschend, da wir explizit bei der Buchung um ein schönes Zimmer gebeten hatten. Wir hatten das Zimmer im April für Ende Juli gebucht. Ein Tag vor Anreise kam eine Mail man könne unseren Wunsch nicht erfüllen 🙈 Ihr hattet lange Zeit Bei langzeit Gästen und Familie/ Preis ist es völlig indiskutabel. Das Frühstück und die Freundlichkeit am Empfang war sehr gut. Grüße Familie Kirschbaum

Superb hotel, fantastic location in ribcev laz, lovely staff, beautiful rooms and an amazing breakfast buffet. Also has a lovely outside area with a firepit and chilled live music. We were not disturbed by the nearby building work whatsoever. Wellness area needs to be booked in advance and gets busy. Would definitely recommend and come again, one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in the world. The best hotel breakfast in the world. Period. Amazing rustic modern vibes. Delicious dinner. Cool outdoor fireplace with drinks at night. Walkable to the lake for a sunset dip. Amazing spa with cold showers, scents mist showers, hot sauna, wet sauna, whirled pool. Lounge rooms. Need to make a reservation kd advance though Best sheets I’ve maybe ever slept on. I need that thread count asap. Great showers. Clean room. Simple Chic look. Beautiful white piano in the lobby. Professional staff. Amazing amazing amazing. Hotel Bohinj you get 100 stars.

If you are seeking privacy and tranquility, this hotel is not for you. We requested a room on the top floor but were instead assigned one on the first floor. When we inquired at the reception, we were informed that there are no premium rooms on the third floor. Unfortunately, the hotel did not respond or explain this in advance. Our room faced the courtyard, where children played loud games throughout the day, making it difficult to relax. Additionally, the staff smoked directly under our window, generating an unpleasant smell. Although they apologized when we brought this to their attention, it is uncomfortable for guests to have to address such issues, and it should not be our responsibility to coordinate the smoking area for the staff. Evening entertainment and loud music continued past 10 PM, which we could hear clearly from our room, further disrupting our sleep. The room lacked proper curtains, only having a shade, allowing guests in the courtyard who were drinking alcohol to stare directly into our room. While the hotel promotes an eco-friendly approach, the air conditioning (or fan-coil convector system, as they call it) was barely functional, making the room uncomfortably hot during the summer heat. Opening the windows to let in cooler evening air would be a viable option, if your room would have some kind of privacy. Additionally, noisy construction work was ongoing during our stay, which was not mentioned in advance. The wellness area is available only by reservation and for a maximum of two hours, which should have been stated before booking. Despite the reservation system, the wellness area still felt crowded. Although the staff is friendly and always smiling, they were not capable of effectively addressing guests' concerns and seemed unable to resolve the fundamental problems at the hotel. Despite the beautiful location by Lake Bohinj and the pleasant decor, our overall experience was disappointing. After touring Slovenia for two weeks and staying at five different places, this was our worst experience. The hotel marketing is misleading; it is not a tranquil place. It may be suitable for Instagram influencers to take nice selfies, but it is not for people seeking peace and quiet. On a positive note, the breakfast was nice and made with quality ingredients. However, this was not enough to outweigh the negative aspects of our stay. We truly felt uncomfortable throughout our stay.

Wow - just loved this eco friendly hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights & it was superb. Funky, stylish but relaxed fit out. The wooden textures in the room made it feel very calming. Breakfasts were fabulous & the staff very friendly. Great bike storage room.
