My wife and I enjoyed four nights here. The hotel is decorated smartly and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. All of our numerous questions were cheerfully answered! The backside breakfast/sitting area has great views of mountains and gels so private! We will return!

Hotel bonito, con historia, bien ubicado, tranquilo, en un entorno espectacular y con un personal de trato exquisito. Desayuno muy bueno. Los dos únicos "peros" son: - Que aceptaran pago con american express. - El café no está a la altura del hotel y el servicio. ¡Volveríamos allí sin dudarlo!

Absolutely perfect! This place is such a gem and has wonderful views of the mountains. The best part- the lovely hospitality and service from everyone. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening. And the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had in Europe! If this place is available don’t hesitate to book it asap!

Staying here was a real treat. The building and decor is all beautifully designed and feels calm and relaxing. Breakfast was great and presented very attractively with fresh flowers. ||The staff were superb - really friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. We were sad to leave!

Dit kleine, rustige hotel is een echte aanrader! Mooi interieur, ruime kamers, fantastisch ontbijt, en bovenal heel vriendelijk, gastvrij personeel. In de omgeving deden we prachtige wandelingen zoals de Soča trail!

This place is magical - you feel like you are in a fairy tale. The hotel is is clearly a labour of love: the interiors are carefully considered, the grounds are perfectly maintained, the breakfast was beautifully presented and they have a top notch wine cellar. In the evening, we loved hanging out in the garden with a cold glass of wine, enjoying the views of the mountains. Our room had high ceilings and views of the mountains out of both windows. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed the comfy beds. The weather was very hot in Bovec, but the room stayed cool. What makes this place really stand out is the service. The staff are kind and attentive - we were treated like kings and queens our whole stay. It was my birthday while we were there and they went out of their way to make the day special. We also had to leave early before breakfast, and they offered to pack us some food to take with us. We will always remember our stay at Dobra Vila.

Zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt met producten uit de regio. Ruime kamers met frigo en airco. Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel met humor. Ruime parking en ruime tuin. Zit je tijdens de voormiddag op het terras, dan komen ze zonder te vragen met glazen en een kan water, dit volledig gratis. Zoek niet verder!

Das Dobra Villa in Bovec ist ein sehr charmantes Hotel mit nur elf Zimmern. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und freundlich. Immer zur Stelle werden den Gästen die Wünsche nahezu von den Augen abgelesen, aber auch auf die empfohlenen Wandertouren kann man sich bestens verlassen. Die Zimmer sind groß, vielleicht ein wenig dunkel, aber das wäre dann auch wirklich das einzige, was vielleicht zu kritisieren wäre. Ein großer Garten mit wunderschöner Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Höhepunkt des Aufenthalts ist das fantastische Frühstücksbuffet mit einer Vielzahl frischer Früchte und Kaffeekreationen nach Wunsch sowie frisch bereiteten Eierspeisen. Aber auch Käse– und Wurstprodukte sowie hausgemachte Marmeladen sind von höchster Qualität. Dazu liebevoll angerichtete Pana Cotta-Gläschen, Frischkäse, unterschiedliche Brotsorten und Croissants. Dieses Frühstücksbuffet gehört zu den allerbesten.

Schön - Schöner am Schönsten! Ein wundervolles, kleines und feines Hotel mit aufmerksamem Personal, das sich liebevoll um wirklich jedes Anliegen kümmert. Es herrscht eine absolute Wohlfühlatmosphäre, und dieser rote Faden zieht sich durch die stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmer, die wunderschöne, gemütliche Bibliothek, den einladenden Wintergarten und den herrlichen Außenbereich von dem aus man den Blick über die Weite der wunderschönen Grünflächen umrahmt von den Julischen Alpen schweifen lassen kann. Mein absolutes Higlight war das Gourmet Frühstück. Eine feine Auswahl an regionalen und saisonalen Leckereien. Nach Wunsch werden die Eierspeisen frisch zubereitet - alles in allem eine Augenweide und ein Gaumenschmaus, dabei wird Nachhaltigkeit hier groß geschrieben. Wer Entschleunigung, Qualität und Stil sucht, sollte sich das in diesem Naturparadies unbedingt gönnen!

Diese Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Zimmer original eingerichtet. Frühstück hervorragend und die Wanderungen an der Soca ein Erlebnis. Auf der Hinfahrt am Ursprung gewesen.

Das Hotel ist von vorne bis hinten im Stil der Bel Epoche eingerichtet. Es stumm absolut alles, bis ins kleinste Detail.|Beim Frühstück bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Auch hier stimmt alles. Auf jedem Stückchen Butter liegt eine kleine Blüte, die Eier werden nach Wunsch ( und evtl. eigenen Zeitangaben) gekocht…|Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt .

What a beautiful retrofit of an old hotel. There are so many small details that made this stay special. We visited during the offseason and there were only a few guest at the hotel but the owners went out of their way to make sure breakfast and the rest of our stay was special.

The stay was excellent. No issues. High ceilings. Lovely drapes and bathroom. Bathroom fittings and size was v good. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Lift helped. Beautiful views. Only no kettle tea or coffee in room. Enough parking too. So all in all it's a thumbs up.

The young lady at check-in was very welcoming and professional. The hotel’s common areas are beautiful.|Room was large and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was not effective due to little air movement. We asked the staff and they said that the system’s fan only has one very low speed. As a result, the room does not get cool enough and it is stuffy. Breakfast is beautifully presented, and all the items are fresh. The gentleman serving in the breakfast room was very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast is not served until 8:00 which prevents guests from getting an early start. There is also a sign that states, “Only the first cup of coffee for breakfast is free.” Never in all my travels have I seen that type of statement in a hotel such as this. I’m not sure what management’s reasoning is behind that, especially considering the room prices charged.

The hotel can be found at the entrance of the village, with generous private parking next to the building (free of charge for guests). The historic building is beautifully and thoughtfully restored, with a lot of attention to detail.||||As you get in, you will find friendly and helpful reception staff; as they also cover the terrace bar, you might need to ring the bell.||||The rooms are on the upper two floors and can be reached by an elevator. The spacious rooms with balcony feature a beautiful view onto the mountains (the only shortfall: no umbrellas / shading provided); for those staying in rooms that don’t have the view, there is a common terrace that features similar views (only one floor down…), and an extensive garden (a further floor down).||||The rooms also feature a spacious wardrobe, a minibar, and even some sockets with USB outlets; they have no desk, but rather two armchairs and a small side / coffee table. The WiFi worked well in the room (less so on the terrace).||||I wonder how many guests made a picture of the bathrooms, where again a lot of attention was paid to bring retro features alive – when was the last time you bathed in a free-standing bathtub that seems to be from the last century? The bathroom has space for two, and a whole cupboard for your toiletries (if you figure out how to open it…). A downside of the retro details: despite the curtain, showering in the bathtub (not comfortable anyway, with nothing to hold the shower head) leaves the room flooded.||||The beds are comfortable (slept very well), with two pillow types; it is blissfully silent at night – you wake up to the sound of birds. Some of the windows feature roller shutters; the curtains on the others are heavy but translucent, so don’t fully keep the daylight out.||||Good breakfast is included in the room charge, and served in the beautiful wintergarden; some homemade stuff is on offer, eggs and coffee made freshly for you.||||The check-out is earlier than usual (10 am), but you can sit on the terrace until you leave.
