Bovec is beautiful in late summer. The hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms were great. The hotel has an early-1900s feel. The breakfast at the hotel was the best food I had during a one week trip throughout Slovenia.

Everything about Hotel Dobra Vila is first class. |Our room was large, well-equipped and had mountain views from 2 sides of the room.|The terrace and gardens are beautiful. The weather was warm while we were in Bovec, and it was very nice to have a late-afternoon drink under an umbrella on the terrace, or in the shade of a tree in the garden, while enjoying stunning scenery. |Breakfast was served on the terrace and was excellent – scrambled eggs made to order, smoked salmon, a variety of top quality fresh fruit, very nice yoghurt as well as cereals, cheeses, cold meat, bread etc.|Finally, the staff were outstanding. The receptionist/bar attendant was delightful; she was helpful, friendly and informative. She also very kindly delivered my handbag to our room after I accidentally left it on the terrace. The manager was also friendly, efficient and very hospitable.|We highly recommend Dobra Vila.

We fell in love for the first sight with this hotel, when we entered at the reception. The interior is very nicely designed till the last book on the shelves. We loved our room on the top floor too. It was spacious and had a great view to the surrounding hills. ||The breakfast on the next morning was also delicious. Fortunately, we had a good weather, so we could have breakfast in the garden. We had great variety of food we could choose from, and the tables were lovely set.|The staff was helpful, and rooms were certainly clean. The city center is in walking distance.||What can I say, we loved our stay there.|

Wir waren 4 Nächte Gast im Dobra Vila und hatten ein Dreibettzimmer (136) mit Terrasse. Das ganze Hotel ist liebenswert und für uns Wiederholungsgefahr. Tolle Zimmer, super geschmackvoll nach Themen ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll angerichtet, je nach Wetterlage auch auf der Terrasse. Parkplatz kostenfrei am Hotel. Bovec als Ausgangsort für Aktivitäten top. Absolute Empfehlung wenn man Boutique Hotel Style mag.

I was staying for 9 days at Dobra Vila for work and I brought my partner. We had an incredible stay. The photos on the website don’t do the hotel justice. Jurij and his team truly made us feel at home. Their local knowledge was fantastic, the dinner we had at the hotel was delicious and breakfast was wonderful. The gym, although small, is very clean and has high quality equipment. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfy. A really special boutique experience.

Un edificio in art deco, un tempo centrale telefonica, oggi splendido boutique hotel con un arredamento inusuale e accattivante. Sicuramente è il miglior hotel di Bovec.|Al mattino la colazione a buffet è ricca di prelibatezze e viene servita in un piacevole giardino d'inverno.|Non abbiamo usufruito della sauna che non è inclusa nel prezzo.|Un plauso al personale della reception per l'estrema cortesia e disponibilità.

Det här är en sån pärla som är sällsynt att hitta. Vi hade vårt livs bästa resa mycket pga hotellet med Juri och personal. Frukosten och deras avsmakningsmeny är världsklass. Rummen är mysiga. Hoppas ni får plats för att bo här är en upplevelse utöver det vanliga!

Honestly I was more than Happy with their hospitality. From the front door to the rooms were so cozy clean and gorgeous as well. Thanks to Yury who made my beautiful Easter ... Excellent boss, person and Chef 🌷😎🌻 see you very soon !!

Hotel was good but not great - my biggest issue would be value for the money. Breakfast was okay and yes it is in a historical former telephone exchange. Parking right next to hotel is free. Room was sort of dated but staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed a couple of days and basically went back and forth between Bovec and Kobarid in the Soca Valley. They are 30 minutes drive apart and if you love the outdoors you could could spend a week here easily. My point is that if you have a car you can home-base out of either town - and you will be spending most of your time outdoors anyway. I would check prices and if I did it again I would find a more cost-effective alternative hotel because you spend very little time in the hotel in this area.|If you want to pay more this hotel is a fine alternative, nothing hugely wrong with it. I just thought it was expensive for what we got, compared to similar properties in Croatia and Slovenia.

The Hotel Dobra Villa is a Jewell Case... This is THE most charming boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. You step in the door and step back 100 years to a time of Old Europe. The decor is largely Art Deco and a whimsical mix of complimentary styes, it draws the eye to ever corner. Each room has a distinct character and theme. We arrived after a long day of hiking (Alpe-Adria-Trail). The owner was most charming, checked us in right way, connected us with our bags.
