We stayed at Jelka during our hike along the Juliana Trail. It was a welcome sight after a day of walking (mostly uphill). The room was very spacious, with a separate bathroom and big balcony. The only downside is that the tap water isn't drinkable. You can get bottled water from a fridge, but that's not very eco friendly. Downstairs is a bar and restaurant which nice, simple dishes. Just what you need after a day of hiking. I also want to give a special mention to the staff of the hotel. In the morning, my girlfriend had a blockage in her neck, so we could hike to lake Bohinj. One of the staff members was so kind to take us with him when he went down to the town. In all the hassle of our abrupt change of plans, I forgot my hiking poles and my cap, which is very dear to me. The staff sent it via courier to one of our next stops. Thank you for reuniting my cap and hiking poles with me!

Just came for dinner after hiking stage 6 of the Juliana trail from Lake Bohinj to Gorlejek - we didn't stay at the hotel. Great selection of local food choices. We're vegetarian and there were options for us. I enjoyed the buckwheat and mushroom "porridge" (more like a less wet risotto) and the side of potatoes was great. Cheese dumplings not so good. The restaurant was very warm and welcoming. There was a fire going in the lobby. The waiter was absolutely fantastic - he was serving lots of tables just himself in a very calm and friendly manner and we were so impressed. His English was brilliant. We wish we'd stayed at the hotel as it looked lovely with a nice view of the forest but unfortunately we'd booked somewhere else nearby already.

Forse il giudizio è in parte viziato da una pessima esperienza precedente a Bled ma l'ambiente, il servizio e la cortesia sono stati al TOP. Ottimi anche il cibo e la colazione.

Breve vacanza in mezzo al parco. Stanza molto grande e ben tenuta, letti comodissimi. Staff gentile e molto disponibile. Servizio di ristorazione e pizzeria per la sera, molto comodo e gestito benissimo. Cani ben accetti anche nella zona ristorante. Bellissime passeggiate nella zona circostante.

Habe bei meinem Julian Trail hier übernachtet. Die Lage des Hauses am Waldrand mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Alm perfekt. Das Haus selber hell, modern und sehr sauber! Zimmer von der Größe in Ordnung. Zweckmäßig und alles was man so braucht vorhanden. Zu erwähnen wäre noch der große Balkon! Das Service an der Rezeption freundlich und hilfsbereit! Im Restaurant etwas verhalten aber nicht unfreundlich! Abendessen kann ich nicht beurteilen. Frühstück um 7:30 war etwas unter meinen Erwartungen aber ok! Im großen und ganzen empfehlenswert!

Hotel immerso nella natura, con pochissime strutture vicine. Vista fantastica, noi eravamo un gruppo da 8 e ci hanno messo in una camerata pulita e con abbondante spazio tra i letti. Nel bagno è presente sapone e bagnoschiuma, i teli sono fornito dalla struttura. Il cibo è ottimo, porzioni abbondanti e tipiche slovene,anche la pizza era buona. Nella struttura è presente una mini SPA a disposizione degli ospiti, con sauna e poltrona massaggiante. Metto 4 stelle solo perché un giorno è mancata l'acqua ai piani superiori ed è stato abbastanza disagiante..

The hotel seemed nice from the photos but the experience was less than average, and we expected more for the price we payed. A major blow was that the hotel had no drinking water, which was a shock for Slovenia, and although hotel staff assured us that we can get bottled water any time, bottles were hard to get. The showers and co. worked without problems. The matrace had a metal mesh that was hurting one’s body, and the beds were squeeking. During our 4-night stay, trash was removed once and no other cleaning/cleaning up was performed. The restaurant on site has good a la carte food, but the service was poor (slow and messy). Breakfast was average with a lot of foreign products, which is again shame as Slovenia has such good food! So apart from great location, we really don’t see a reason to stay there.

Byli jsme zde poprvé na 3 noci, co se týče polohy tak je to blízko Bledu a Bohinju. Kde se dá bez problému strávit několik dní výletama. Cesta z jedné strany trochu horší, hodně velkých začátek a horší terén, ale to se dá předpokládat v horách. Pokoj byl hezký, byli jsme v prvním patře směrem na zahrádku restaurace, první večer tedy bylo docela hlučno. Sice mají otevřeno jen do 21h ale ten večer to zrovna bylo o něco déle a spát v tom moc nešlo. Snídaně za nás dostačující, sladké a slané od půl 8, jen v těch půl 8 nebylo úplně vše připraveno na stolech. Přes den nebo k večeru když jsme si sedli do restaurace, tak na celý plac tam byl jen jeden číšník a opravdu nebylo v jeho silách všechny hosty rychle obsloužit, takže jsme čekali třeba na jídelní lístek i 7 min a s placením bylo lepší jít rovnou k baru. Nechápu proč majitelé či provozní nedají aspoň na večer dva číšníky.
