Es liegt in sehr schöner zentraler Lage. Das Personal beim Dinner war etwas lästig, es lief immer um die Tische herum, ob es etwas zu tun gab oder nicht. Das machte das Essen sehr unruhig. Interessant war der Einsatz von KI.

Sehr schönes Hotel, wenn auch etwas älter. Zimmer schön (auch ohne Klimaanlage angenehm), mit Balkon, Pool und Whirl-Pool inklusive. Super Frühstücksbuffet.

Soggiorno di una settimana in agosto 2024: tutto perfetto, buono, vario e abbondante il cibo, molto bene l'assistenza del personale e i servizi, comodo il parcheggio, bella la piscina coperta, forse arredamento camere un pò da rivedere ma nel complesso soggiorno più che soddisfacente

El hotel está bien ubicado para visitar la zona o hacer actividades de montaña. El parking, desayuno y servicios son adecuados, pero las habitaciones dejan bastante que desear. Las fotos engañan ya que el mobiliario y el baño está envejecido, la limpieza es muy mejorable y el olor impregnado en la moqueta es insoportable. Las habitaciones no son de un hotel de 4 estrellas.

We arrived on a Wednesday night, a little tired due to delays both ends of our flight, however our rep from Inghams, the fabulous Katja, had made sure the hotel were aware of our delays to ensure we could grab dinner before it closed at 9 pm. If you book with Inghams and having the pleasure of having Katja as your host, you will discover for yourself how helpful, informative and good fun she is. ||Restaurant area ||First impressions on the restaurant area were very good, food for dinner is buffet style with clear chalk labels above the counters as to what it is, most evenings we all managed to find something. There’s a range of meat options, a couple of veggie options and a full salad/fruit area, coupled with an array of mini deserts so you don’t feel guilty taking more than one to try. The hotel asks you only take what you plan to eat to avoid food waste, so it’s good to take a taster and go back if you find something you like. On every night there is always a veggie soup and a meat broth option too.||Breakfast includes bread and bread rolls, yogurt in a small fridge, and a variety of cheeses and meats to pick from as well as fruit, which can include bananas, apples, peaches/nectarines, grapes, plums, apricots. Hot options included scrambled eggs, and something described as bacon (very different from UK streaky bacon but that’s the closest it comes to) , sausages, and a frankfurter type sausage, there’s also a ratatouille options, Drinks include variety of teas and machine coffee eg. Espresso, latte and cappuccino. However, be aware the ‘fruit’ drink dispenser is not fruit juice and is instead squash. No fresh juices available at all. ||Staff in the restaurant area are attentive and at times too much so, the minute a plate is emptied, a waiter/ress pounces on it, and takes it away, this constant activity can make you feel ‘watched’ intensely! It’s kind of like having a human hover fly around at all times. Nonetheless all were welcoming and friendly.||Wine if you order it is sold at 100ml glasses, which is somewhat small to the measures in the UK. A variety of soft drinks are on order, and you can’t have tap water on the table, and if you take your own bottle into the restaurant you are asked to remove it. Nonetheless the drinks aren’t too overpriced, and i can recommend the grapefruit Radler (a beer with flavouring, very refreshing). ||Rooms -||We had booked the ‘superior room’ with a Mountain View. I’m not sure this room was any better than a standard room, only that it had a bit more floor space, we had a fold up cube chair, which clearly opened into a single bed, and an office chair, neither of which scream comfort. We had a balcony with two chairs and a small table. It was apparent along these balconies there were flower boxes which straddle the balcony next to you, however, these were all empty. Such a shame. ||Beds are essentially twins, which are made up as one bed if you want a double, they are roomy, with clean crisp bedding, and are quite comfortable, and not difficult to turn on. ||You have a mini fridge in the cupboard of the dresser, which was useful for storing drinks from the nearby supermarket, a welcome cool drink after a day out on the mountains. There are no tea and coffee facilities, so do bring your own mini kettle. ||Storage for clothing is ample and the free safe is great. The only fly in the ointment is if you wish to use the robes provided you have to pay a fee of 5 euros to do so for each one. ||Bathroom - this needs some attention. We stayed in room 154, the shower cubicle had a lot of mould on the grout in the corners, and the door to the shower never met in the middle, however, the room didn’t get flooded as the shower itself didn’t spray out of all the holes, with some of it being a kin to a tap rather than a spray. Towels were also small so don’t expect to have a wrap around towel after you’ve showered. Lighting in the bathroom is quite dull. There was also on occasions a drain smell but if you put the light on and close the door the fan in the room soon resolved this. A hairdryer is provided. ||Pool area - We used the pool on quite a few occasions in the late afternoon, pool temperature was cooling a welcome relief after a very hot day, and the water at it’s highest was only chest high for me at 5 foot 5, and dropping to waist high at the shallow end. There is a small children’s pool. Acoustics as you’d expect are poor, so if there is noise it’s not peaceful. There is a wealth of loungers to use, some inside and a handful outside on a patio. Be aware, in the summer if you lay there, you may get bitten by some bug. Jacuzzi seats 15 so it’s huge, and starts automatically when it senses someone in it. If you wanted to use the sauna, you had to pay more, so we didn’t try this out. Overall the pool area is adequate.

Staff is friendly & breakfast is not bad, i cannot recommend this hotel though! They are advertising renovated rooms which they forgot to mention the bathrooms were not updated and the air conditioning is basically not working! With an outside temperature of over 30 the rooms heat up so it is not a nice sleep! The bedroom price above 200 with a not powerful enough aircon is not acceptable. Other guests were complaining as well! It’s time to Invest!

If you seek to experiance hotel from the past you found it. Perfect location an parking. Rooms and food is something that you will not like it. I just hope new wind in menadgement will blow here soon.

Velice fajn recepční, pokoj prostorný, čistý, včetně koupelny. Snídaně byla naprosto famózní, zatím jsem se nikde jinde nesetkal s takovým výběrem. Velké parkoviště zdarma pro ubytované, hotelu kousek od centra. Kranjska Gora a její okolí je naprosto úžasné, doporučuji navštívit.

The rooms are very old. There is a smell in the room, probably from the bathroom.|Bathroom has mold on it, we found hair on the “clean” towel. |Stuff is very friendley, they are trying to help.|The rooms are dated, the hotel defenetly needs a renovation.

The location of the hotel and Krajnska Gora itself were great. but! Opposite the hotel there is a staff quarters and they are so loud at night (even after 10 pm). One night they were so loud so we wanted to change the room with the windows to other side but it was “not possible” - we have almost change the hotel. Also, the cleaning service was not good. They only changed the towels and made beds. No vacuuming/mopping the floors, changing bedsheets, cleaning toilet… Furthermore, there is absolutely disgusting smell coming from the bathroom (especially in the evening) - probably from the pipe. Fungus on the tiles… The good thing was breakfast (a lot of options but everyday the same) and location + free parking.

Zimmer ganz schön und sauber. Frühstück sehr gut, leider war das Abendessen überwiegend Convenience Food. Bei einem 4 -Stern Hotel erwarte ich mir da mehr!

Older mountain hotel. Room was hot and not great ventilation even with window wide open. There’s no air conditioning. Breakfast was good with extensive selection of meats, cheese, cereal, bread, pastries, juices, eggs, bacon, sausage etc. Get there early as the large groups can clean out the good stuff. Nice staff. Indoor pool with several chaises outside. One major positive was that the staff was very responsive about finding an item left behind and sending it back. Thank you for that!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here, though it was only for one night.|Staff was really friendly, breakfast was good too and there is a parking space at the front of the hotel.||The only minor thing is that there was no airconditioning, so it was a bit hot in the room.|The hotel is a bit outdated but quite well maintained.

Hotel, ktorý sa tvári na 4**** izby v postkomunistickom štýle akoby sa tam čas zastavil 20r dozadu. Vybavenie hotela tiež nič moc. V sprche pri spustení vody chvíľku varená voda hneď na to ľadová voda, nedokázalo si to udržať nastavenú teplotu. Bazén a vírivka by sa tiež zišlo zrekonštruovať a vymeniť za nerezové vane, to čo tam ponúkate už dnešnej dobe vôbec nevyhovuje. Taktiež otváracie hodiny bazéna by sa mohli namiesto do 19:00 natiahnuť aspoň do 22:00. Celý komplex hotela však zachraňuje personál, je výborný príjemný, vždy usmiaty. Výborne sú podávané jedlá, človek sa nevedel dojesť čo to bolo také Výborne a tak široký výber na švédskych stoloch bol super.
