This hotel is a meeting point for “Lastovke” a group of Slovenes who have lived abroad and returned to Slovenia like swallows. The owner, Martin, is one of them. It was a great place for a meeting and we enjoyed the traditional pancakes he served, vowing to come back for a more substantial meal. This place is popular with airline crews and also an option for those touring Slovenia by car but don’t want the hassle of parking in Ljubljana. Can’t comment on the rooms because they had not fully reopened at the time of my visit. English cheerfully spoken.

Bereits zum 2. Mal ein hervorragender Unterkunft! Preise sehr gut, Abendessen und Frühstück einfach großartig (Erfahren Küchenchef), Zimmern sauber und in Ordnung. Die beiden Hotelbetreibenden sind wirklich sehr gute Gastgeber. Kaum wünsche übrig und wenn doch wurde mir geholfen! Kann jeden nur empfehlen!

I loved my stay at this hotel with my husband for a week stay in October 2019! The way we were greeted by the owners Martin & Silva was like we were old friends, both speak excellent English. The rooms we were in (we left a few nights to visit elsewhere, then returned) were nice and clean; they were on the small size for what we were used to (being American) but everything was there for a comfortable stay, plenty of storage and desk area--just lacking more . Housekeeping was really good with needs and cleanliness.||The food that Martin cooks is absolutely amazing...we wanted to eat every dinner there. He is a 5 star chef, his menu is incredible with variety. His buffet breakfast was amazingly plentiful and excellent variety...he will make you eggs the ways you like and coffee the way you want (when he is not there, his wife Silva does an excellent job as well). Locals go there, they have many business groups meet there. The lobby walls are full of pictures of past guest and beauty pageant contestants where Martin participated with....our picture is there somewhere (along with Melania Trump's father with Martin). Sufficient free parking for rental car, good location near major roads, shopping, etc. ||||I was negligent in writing this review, but now with coronavirus time, finally did this (sorry Martin and Silva). We had hope to return in 2020, but it looks now like it will be another year. We definitely would stay here again....felt very safe and comfortable! Traveled with husband in OCTOBER 2019....did first review in 2020.

Allzeit ansprechbarer und sehr bemühten Gastgeber. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer sauber und groß. Alles nur etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

We were there in September 2019. It is a 3 star hotel but with defineltely a 5-star service!!!! Family run hotel extremley kind staff, they looked for our need every minute. Lovely experience, amazing stay, fantastic food, the service is outstanding. The head of the family was born to be a king of the hosts. Thank you, we will never forget it.

I really enjoyed my stay here in the Krona hotel. I was here for 1 day for work during the corona crisis. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good and the food in the evening was great. Even during these difficult times the owners provide everything you need! I would highly recommend this hotel!
