Stayed here with a friend in September. We were visiting Ljubljana for the Northern Ireland v Slovenia football match. We stayed for 3 nights. The price was reasonable. The room, while small, was very clean and comfortable. A mini fridge was included which was handy for storing water. Our room was on the second floor and looked out on to a concrete wall but the view did not matter. We had breakfast one morning which cost €8 each. It was basic but perfectly edible and suitable for travellers on a budget. The hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Three Bridges area where all the bars, cafes and nightlife is. It’s also about a 10 minute from walk the bus station. The hotel is adjacent to a large hospital so there are always people in the area. Any staff we encountered were very helpful. The reception is not 24/7. It closes at night and you have an access code to get inside. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Ljubljana. There is a pharmacy and a supermarket also on the block for supplies.

Very close to Ljubljana centre, hotel Meksiko offers simple and cosy rooms for all purposes. My room was spatious yet I found residues of previous residents. The staff was excellent, helpful, there is a small hotel parking lot for visitors and the breakfast was very good. I recommend it, definitely a good cost/benefit ratio.

Nice and very helpful staff . Good basic breakfast. Sometimes, it's a bit noisy because it is located just beside a hospital and a polyclinic, but it is quiet during the night.

It's ducking bad. The shower is broken. The fridge doesn't work. The lights also doesn't work. I don't know the price but for a THREE STAR hotel it's not worth it.

Meksiko Hotel is a very reasonably priced hotel, within close proximity of the main train station (approximately 700 metres, or 15 minutes on foot).||There is a hospital emergency department right adjacent to the hotel, but despite this, my sleeps were restful and I didn't hear the sounds of ambulances at night. There is a very large supermarket called Hofer right next door, on the same street, as well as a Lidl supermarket across from the main train station. I used both to stock up on provisions in preparation for day trips and train journeys.||The hotel is within walking distance to the Old Town, and all of the main attractions. On foot, I was able to walk to the Old Town in about 15 minutes. Ljubljana is small, so you can see all of the main sights in one afternoon, including the castle! Highly recommend a day trip to Lake Bled, as for me it was the highlight of Slovenia. Easy 40 minute trip by train!||I booked a single room, it was small, but it fine for a solo traveller with a small backpack! Amenities weren't in surplus, but the room came with what I needed - bar soap, a towel, a floor mat, a mini fridge, a tv with news and movie channels (handful in English), a comfortable bed, a hot shower with good water pressure, in shower dispenser with shower gel (but no shampoo, which I found odd!). Bottled water wasn't provided, but would have been appreciated - I filled up my water bottles at the breakfast dispenser in the mornings! The room also had working A/C and wifi, although the wifi was very weak and cut out frequently in my room. For these reasons, I’ve given a lower score on hotel facilities. The professionalism and courtesy of staff made up for some of the hotel deficiencies.||Breakfast exceeded my expectations. For a budget hotel, the breakfast spread was excellent. On offer were scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, hot sausages, fresh cut vegetables, fresh whole fruits for take away, cold cut meats and cheeses, an assortment of cold cereals, yogurt, milk, an assortment of pastries and fresh bread with jams, butter etc. The hotel had an automatic coffee dispenser which made coffee according to your preferences - black, cappuccino, latte, hot milk, etc. There was an assortment of teas as well. They likewise had an automatic dispenser for juices and water (orange and apple I believe). Breakfast was always stocked in large part because of attentive staff constantly checking on the breakfast availability. ||The hotel has locked luggage storage in the basement where you can leave your backpack/suitcase for the day (up until 9pm, when reception closes).||Overall, a great stay. Location was ideal, and the hotel offered good amenities for the price. My only complaint would be that housekeeping opened my door while I was in the room in the morning with the "do not disturb" sign on. Minor annoyance, and the cleaner quickly realized her mistake and closed the door when she realized I was in the room. I don't believe it to be intentional, and chalk it up to a mistake.

Leider eines der schlechtesten Hotels, die ich bisher besucht habe. Badezimmer sehr dreckig. Dusche voller Schimmel. Frühstück sehr überschaubar. Je eine Sorte Käse und Wurst. Brötchen zu kurz und nur von einer Seite aufgebacken. Kein Brot. Kaffee (und andere Getränke) wird von der Maschine mit heißem Wasser gestreckt. Frühstücksraum viel zu klein, ohne Fenster und sehr laut. Tische stehen so dicht aneinander, dass das Durchgehen ohne jemanden anzurempeln quasi unmöglich ist. Hat ein wenig etwas von Jugendherberge - wobei jede Jugendherberge sauberer ist. Parkplätze sind viel zu eng, nicht markiert und nur mit hohem Rangiergaufwand zu erreichen. Beulen und Kratzer sind hier (auch durch die Fahrzeuge der anderen Gäste) vorprogrammiert. Für den stolzen Preis eine Frechheit...

Hotel è situato a fianco dell'ospedale con pronto soccorso ed alcune camere affacciano sull'entrata e uscita delle ambulanze, di conseguenza lascio a voi immaginare quanto si può dormire.|La camere sono pulite ma le lenzuola "sotto" coprivano appena la superficie superiore del materasso (senza rincalzo), pertanto al minimo si finiva direttamente a contatto con materasso.|In una camera su 7 punti luce solo 2 funzionavano, nell'altra camera su 3 ne funzionavano 2.|Le docce hanno un difetto di realizzazione alle ante che facevano "allagare" il pavimento del bagno.|Per quanto riguarda il parcheggio, quando siamo arrivati attorno alle 18.00, non vi era posti liberi e ci hanno indirizzato ad un parcheggio ad ore al costo di € 20,00 per la notte.

Hotel difficile da trovare, le stanze si affacciano su un pronto soccorso (ambulanze e elicottero sono piuttosto fastidiosi), pulizia da rivedere, colazione scarsa e con pochi posti disponibili. Il parcheggio dell'hotel dispone di una decina di posti, attenzione perché il vicino parcheggio a pagamento costa 30€ al giorno. |Per una notte può andare bene, ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è sufficiente

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti. La parola che mi viene in mente per descriverlo è sporco. Abbiano trovato nella stanza fatture e scontrini di ospiti precedenti risalenti a gennaio, noi siamo stati lì in agosto. La moquette era piena di briciole, i bagni con muffa e incrostazioni. Nei due giorni che abbiamo trascorso li hanno solo cambiato asciugamani e svuotato i cestini. Ma non hanno neanche rifatto il letto. Mancava il tappeto per uscire dalla doccia. I mobili erano scollati. Nella stanza dei mie genitori non funzionava l'aria condizionata ne l'areatore nel bagno. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare stanza e siamo stati subito accontentati, con una stanza a cui mancava il frigo bar, ma non si può avere tutto dalla vita. L'hotel è abbastanza vicino al centro, ma affaccia sul pronto soccorso del policlinico, quindi non sicuramente tranquillo, soprattutto quando atterrava l'elicottero. Il personale della reception era gentile e disponile ma da solo non può salvare la nostra esperienza
