My first impressions of the hotel were positive. The place is nicely decorated and has its own style. Check in was easy and friendly. I did ask for a twin room with separate beds, but I was instead given a double room with a sofa bed. This worked ok, as the sofa bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. It was possible to order hot food, such as omelettes and pancakes. The location is excellent. It's central, but not in the very touristy part. It's easy to get to the main attractions, and there are good restaurants nearby.

Super Hotel in toller Lage!|Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage für eine Städtetour durch Ljubljana. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Parkplätze gab es zu unserer Zeit direkt vor dem Hotel. |Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. |Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut!|Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer für 2 Nächte reserviert. Da kein anderes Zimmer frei war, wurde ein Zimmer unter dem Dach mit Klimaanlage vorgemerkt.Als wir am 22.05.23 ankamen, war es in dem zugewiesenen Zimmer so warm, dass ich Schweißausbrüche bekam. Offenbar ist das Dach nicht gut isoliert. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht und wir wurden in ein Zimmer im 1. Stock verlegt. Das war in Ordnung. Aber es wurde von meiner Frau und mir ein zusätzlicher "Upgrade"-Betrag für diesen Raum verlangt von 2x 15 €. Das finden wir unpassend, weil der technische Defekt in der Verantwortung des Hotels liegt. Auf eine entsprechende höfliche Bitte, das Geld zurückzuverweisen, wurde nicht einmal geantwortet.

Das Mrak ist ein sehr schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Die Leute sind nett und machen einen guten Job. Die Betten sind bequem, die Zimmer modern und sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig. Das Zentrum ist um die Ecke, aber rund um das Hotel gibt es sehr charmante Cafés und Bistros ... Das Mrak kann man jedem empfehlen.

Alles super gelaufen, selbst der Parkservice lief hervorragend für unsere 6 Motorräder. Zimmer, Betten, Service und Frühstück alles top, kann man nicht meckern. Frühstück geht natürlich immer ausreichender und besser aber es war so wie es war vollkommen i.O. Die Lage ist natürlich top, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich, höflich und nett.

Went again to the hotel and they are doing their outmost to make your stay comfy. They also helped me out when Ljubljana was full and they found a ground floor room for me for which I am very thankful. This is a very good 3 stars hotel - nothing to complain. Even the manager who can be sometimes a bit tough :) was really helpful last time. I can recommend this place very much. Torn about the 4th star….. Don’t get me wrong, Mrak has clean and spacey rooms, nice table to work although small window in my room and overall fine. The hotel is at the beginning of the centre not in the heart as many others say. Staff friendly except had an issue with housekeeping. Usually do not like to go over housekeeping staff as they are the weakest link but when to start throwing away stuff that you shouldn’t and find cables on the floor that you haven’t touched in your bag for ages you start asking yourself questions. The best part of the hotel is that you are right next to my favourite top breakfast place called Le petit. No need to book breakfast as you have 20m next to the hotel your best Ljubljana breakfast place. I’ll give it another shot when I am next here in the hope that housekeeping will improve.
