The hotel is situated on the strip, in the middle of the town. Perhaps somewhat soulless, buy kept spotless and impeccable. We only came here for dinner which was somewhat underwhelming, particularly the wine offerings which did not do justice what Slovenia has to offer.

Very nice hotel with a nice seaside sunning & swimming area. Breakfast buffet was varied and fresh, and cook-to-order eggs / omelettes a plus (not to mention bottomless mimosas). Extremely professional and very warm and hospitable staff. Clean and ample rooms. Outstanding location. Ground floor restaurant - food and service both excellent. Bellmen were top notch - welcoming, hard working and helpful - excellent welcoming of new guests.

Five stars all the way for Hotel Slovenija. The second we walked into reception we knew we'd enjoy our stay. Everyone was super friendly, the rooms and whole hotel were immaculate. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. You also get access to the beach club across the road with sun loungers, a few food options and a bar. If you stay here you have to experience the thermomineral water swimming pools, we went everyday for a morning swim. In terms of location this hotel is perfect for local restaurants and the beach, in the evenings we got the local bus from just outside the hotel (€2) to Piran which takes about 6 minutes and buses seem to run every 15 mins or so. Another must visit. All in all the perfect hotel.

The photos speak for themselves. I work as a Housekeeping Manager in a five-star hotel, so I have a full understanding of what five stars should mean. The room was incredibly dirty, and when we were given another room, it was also in poor condition. I didn't have the energy to complain again, as I realized that all the rooms would likely be the same. When I first complained, the receptionist responded aggressively, questioning what I wanted, what my problem was, and who I was, so I didn’t manage to speak to any manager. I hope a mystery checker visits soon to see these issues. This hotel deserves at most a three-star rating. At breakfast, we wanted to have a waffle, but after seeing how they were being cooked, we quickly changed our minds

Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend geräumig, jedoch der Service in Bezug auf Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeit(Zöliakie) ist nicht vorhanden! Trotz einer Anfrage mehrere Wochen vor der Anreise, auf gesonderte Nahrungsmittel für das Frühstück, war nichts vorbereitet und es wurde TK Brot (2 Scheiben) in der Plastikverpackung in der Mikrowelle erwärmt und mir serviert! Sogar auf Nachfrage beim Restaurant Manager war am nächsten Tag wieder nur aufgewärmtes Brot für mich zum frühstücken vorbereitet! Bin sehr enttäuscht!!! Für mich keine 5*!!!!!

Dopo più di 20 anni durante i quali veniamo sempre qui, anche 2 volte all'anno, sia allo Slovenja, che al Portorotz, non verremo più. |Allo Slovenja, che dopo la ristrutturazione era il top, soprattutto per la cena con ricchissimo buffet e scelta di carne o pesce ( per entrambivdiversi tipi) cucinata al momento, è diventato peggio del grand Hotel: buffet inesistente e pietanze riciclate dalla sera prima, solo una scelta per i secondi cucinati al momento ( o un tipo di carne, o uno di pesce) pane surgelato, dopo 3 giorni di richieste al personale hanno rimesso il pane integrale. Molto meglio il ristorante al grand Hotel. Ma il peggio sono le terme: i getti dai piedi nella piscina termale erano rotti da più di due mesi e nessuno si è sognato di avvisarci, i getti di quelle salata da seduti fermi già da un anno, l'idromassaggio in vasca a parte era chiusa e murato, la cascata d'acqua chiusa....ormai è diventato un hotel per famiglie con ragazzini che giocano a palla in acqua davanti ai bagnini ( è vietato) , che fanno finta di non vederli.|Davvero i miei complimenti al direttore che a furia di risparmiare, ha ridotto questi Hotel ad una tristezza infinita.|Non torneremo mai più

Bij aankomst erg chagrijnig benaderd en er werd onvriendelijk gezegd dat de incheck om 15.00 uur was en dat we dan maar terug moesten komen, niet wat je wilt horen na een lange reis per auto , verder moet je overal voor bij betalen

The hotel is amazing. I think it is one of the best five star hotels in Slovenia. It has beautiful spacious rooms, fantastic spa and world class cuisine. We stayed at a full ocean view room. It was spacious and comfortable. It had a very welcoming look. We had half board. The breakfast was incredible. It had everything. From good bread to fantastic eggs. The friendly head of service was very fond of the compliments. The Sea Spa was under renovation when we were there. I can’t tell you about that. In September we are going again. I am excited to see it. The shared thermal spa is amazing. It has pools perfect for long swimming sessions. The dinner is also very well prepared. I am very excited to go back.
