What to say about this beautiful place to stay in Ljubljana. Hotel is located walking distance from center of the city. Property has nice big private parking. Building was music school and looks nice and clean outside and very clean inside. When you get inside you will find beautiful place with collection of arts from different cultures and different places. Pia, who is the hotel manager is very nice and she is the person who is the crown of all experiences we had on our stay in this hotel. Do I recommend this place, absolutely. If you planning to go in Ljubljana, stay in this hotel. Dragan and Nada

Sve pohvale. Soba prostrana, izuzetno cista. Kupatilo cisto i odlicno, peskiri se menjaju svakodnevno. Izuzetno ljubazno osoblje.

This hotel was more like hostel or bed & breakfast thing than hotel. There weren’t any customer service. Breakfast ran out in the morning. The waitress told us that ”all other customers have eaten all food”. Towels were meant for faces. We got towels for shower in the last evening. In the triple room the third bed was bad couch. There was something in the middle of the bed that disturbed sleeping. Only sheets were nice. That was very noisy room because we heard noisy steps in the upstairs.

This isn't a real hotel if you ask me, more like an expensive hostel. There is no reception, it is self checkin with a lock box, and no shampoo or coffee in room like a hotel. The breakfast is mediocre. They ran out of bowls for the cereal and I asked if they had more. The person said, "no, they are all being used." Several guests came in and just didn't get to eat half of the options because there are no bowls. They didn't care. Could have washed some that were finished using or buy more bowls. Lol. I guess I'm asking too much for paying 143 euros a night?! It was expensive and poorly serviced. Since it is an old house, it's loud. So much banging around in the halls and upstairs that it's hard to sleep. Sounded like they were moving furniture at 11pm upstairs. Bring earplugs!

Edificio caratteristico con parcheggio privato, camera grande con tante finestre, accessoriata, unica pecca: il soffione della doccia rotto. Colazione abbastanza varia e abbondante. Personale gentile.

La Villa esteticamente è molto di impatto sia internamente che esternamente, ma scendiamo nei dettagli. |Le persiane erano rotte, decisamente troppa polvere sotto i letti, mancanza degli asciugamani da doccia. Altra nota dolente: le lenzuola, che erano sostituite dai piumoni, decisamente troppo pesanti per la stagione e per di più i copripiumoni cosi' come i copricuscini non erano stirati, sintomo di trascuratezza. |Infine la colazione direi accettabile, ma niente di più, gli unici due dolci erano torte confezionate, non c'era la possibilità di avere del latte caldo. |Per quanto riguarda l'accoglienza forse stanno sperimentando nuovi orizzonti, poiché alla reception non abbiamo mai visto nessuno, siamo entrati in hotel con dei codici che ci hanno permesso di ottenere la chiave della camera. Questa parte è stata divertente anche per i bambini, ma poi forse un po' impersonale e poco utile nel caso di problemi.

Mauvaise expérience qui rejoint d'autres commentaires négatifs. Je suis étonné des avis très positifs de certains voyageurs qui semblent avoir fait un séjour miraculeux dans cet hôtel. L'accueil est totalement impersonnel puisqu'il n'y a pas de réception. Tout se fait par mail et boites à clés. A notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que la chambre n'était pas conforme à notre réservation. Il s'agissait d'une chambre étroite et toute en longueur avec deux lits simples séparés alors que nous avions demandé un lit double. Lorsque nous avons eu un responsable au téléphone, celui-ci s'est montré très peu attentif à notre demande et s'est contenté de faire déplacer les lits côte à côte, bouchant la moitié de la chambre et supprimant toute utilité aux tables de chevets. Nous avons eu l'impression de camper une semaine entière dans cette chambre. Il n'existe donc pas de réception, pas de sourire ni de salutation, pas de conseils ni d'orientation et aucun effort pour donner l'impression au client qu'il est autre chose qu'un portefeuille. L'hôtel est agréablement décoré dans les espaces communs mais les murs de notre chambre étaient blancs et nus. Le bruit est assez présent à l'intérieur. Il est très fort à l'extérieur (zone semi-industrielle, circulation, climatisation), ce qui contraint à vivre les fenêtres fermées et la climatisation allumée. Le confort et la propreté sont corrects sans plus. Le petit-déjeuner est médiocre, peu généreux et non-conforme aux photos postées sur la plate-forme de réservation. Cet hôtel est à éviter. Il reste même cher pour ce niveau de prestation.

Wie in den anderen Rezensionen beschrieben ist die Nummer 11 kein Zimmer, sondern ein Kellerraum. In diesem Zimmer steht der Server des Hotels und die Fenster sind Kellerfenster. Es ist frech, dieses Zimmer zu vermieten.

Ett mycket prisvärt alternativ i Ljubljana. Visserligen blir det en ordentlig promenad till centrum men det är till största delen i tilltalande omgivningar. Mycket tillmötesgående och välkomnande inställning från personalen. Bekvämt och komplett för krav i mellanklassen.

The Hotel Vila Katrca is a good value for staying in Ljubjana. It is about a 20 minute walk to Triple Bridge. It has almost a hostel like feel to the hotel. While it was a good value it was definitely not a luxury. The first thing we noticed was a slight smell of cigarette smoke when we entered the room. This lingered our whole stay. We had a queen bed and a pullout sofa for our family of 4 adults. This was sufficient. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were very flat. The room was clean spacious. The bathroom was small. The hotel employees and owners were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. We went to the wrong hotel and they helped up get to the correct one easily. There is only someone at the hotel in the mornings for breakfast. You must get a key out of a lock box for your room, they email this information to you. Breakfast was nice: hard boiled eggs, pastries, meat and cheese, bread and rolls, jam and honey, tomatoes, capers, etc. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and there is free parking. This was our second visit to Ljubjana, we would stay here again, but if it is your first visit I would suggest some place closer to the city center. If you do not have a car and parking is not an issue there are plenty of places near the town center, but be aware they are expensive. With a car parking is an issue, the Hotel Vila Katrca was a good compromise.

Era tutto perfetto, la camera era curata al minimo dettaglia e pulita , bagno spazioso. La Pia era veramente un raggio di sole , sempre molto gentile e disponibile, amichevole e ospitale, affettuosa , simpatica , professionale cordiale, paziente . La colazione era divina. Sempre la pia Subito si è prestata a darci informazioni e preziosi consigli sulla città e le mete vicine.

Riječ Hotel Vila će vas dobro zavarati. Dobili smo sobu u podrumu kraj kuhinje u kojoj se osjeti vlaga, tv nema signala, a u sobi smješten veliki server koji neprestano radi ne može se spavati od njega, a i krevet je jako neudoban. Kad smo gospođi koja se predstavila kao vlasnica ukazali na to i da treba upozoriti goste gdje ih misli smjestiti, rekla je da to nije obvezna i da nema drugih soba i ako nam se ne sviđa da možemo ići ali će nam ipak biti naplaćeno s kartice. Moja preporuka je za sve da izbjegavate ovaj objekt i vlasnicu, jer ako netko plati smještaj u hotelu, onda i očekuje da bude smješten u nešto što zaslužuje naziv hotel.

Iznajmili smo apartman u navedenom hotelu preko servisa booking.com. U apartmanu koji nam je hotel dodijelio nalazio se ormar za servere, u kom je bila uključena oprema. Buka koju je proizvodila oprema bila je prevelika, da u apartmanu nije bilo moguće spavati. Nismo spavali, probdjeli smo noć. A platili smo noćenje da spavamo.
