We had a 5 course culinary delight, which for us lasted most of the afternoon. The service was fantastic and the food divine. The hotel is quaint and in a fantastic location, with stunning views. While we did not stay we were given a guided tour of the hotel, the rooms are nice , lots of options, the top floor has an apartment which has a kitchenette and can sleep up to 6 people and has two balconies. It looked very comfortable and we would love to stay there next time we are here.

Zelo je bilo fajn. A v našo sobi (mislim da 2. nadstropje zadnja vrata na levi) je ves čas odpadala ena od zaves.

Distanza tra la struttura ed il centro di Maribor circa 20 km.||TV con soli canali Sloveni, quindi per noi Italiani inutilizzabile.||Vita sociale poco animata.||Ottimo parcheggio. ||Ristorante molto economico Euro 7 per una cena con Zuppa un secondo con contorni e dolce. La scelta è effettuata su circa 7/8 menù prestabiliti. ||Lo chef molto disponibile e molto valido, lo dimostrano anche i vari diplomi ottenuti in bella mostra nella sala ristorante. ||Personale di servizio simpatico efficiente e disponibile al massimo.||Clima perfetto della zona (albergo a 1140 mt. slm), in una zona che d'inverno è vicina ad impianti sciistici.

After a nice hike in the Pohorje we decided to stop at hotel Zarja to eat lunch. The hotel is at about 2 hours from the cabinlift which takes you from Maribor to Pohorje. There are six menus and you have to pick one. The soup is the same in all menus the main course differs. There were two variants for the soup. The soup was good and also the grilled trout was tasty. Service was very slow we waited a hour and a half for the dessert and eventually left without eating it. In the hotel yard it smelled like pee, their evacuation system was probably broked.
