I loved this hotel. It felt very new and was super clean. The tech in the room was amazing. Special lighting under the bed and in the bathroom that senses motion so when it's dark and you get up, the lights go on so you can see where you are going. I would stay here again and again.

The hotel opened about 18 months ago. The rooms are very nice. I was upgraded to a waterfront view as an Explorist. However, I think all of the rooms have a good view. Some looking out on the bay and others looking out towards the marina. The hotel is equally convenient to Baytown and Pasadena. |There is a restaurant on site that closes somewhat early. However, there is a Market that serves some hot and some cold options, as well as the usual snacks and drinks. The Market is open 24 hrs/day. There is also a restaurant across the parking lot that is open later. They have a large menu with bar type food as well as other entree options. |This is on my list of three go-to hotels when staying in south Pasadena. In order of preference - Hyatt Baytown, Residence Inn Pasadena (VERY close second) and the Home 2 Pasadena. Just as an FYI avoid any hotels near Houston Hobby. It has become a crime ridden area. The police are frequently called for incidents at those hotels (per the Police Dept).

I travel quite a bit and I thought that most of the hotels that I stayed in were clean and that I was actually appreciated as a guest. Baytown Hyatt has spoiled me. I have never stayed in a hotel quite like that one. Spotless. My room was impeccable. No flaking paint, no imperfections on the furniture. Flawless. The staff was warm, welcoming, and smiling all of the time. I am staying in a Hilton as I type this in New Jersey, and I would rather be home, but if I had to be in a hotel, it would be the Baytown Hyatt.

I stayed here on a two day business trip and pleasantly surprised. I usually stay at Hampton Inn's etc. but had a client staying here and thought it would be better to be in the same place. It was, not only for the space we had to discuss business but also the bar, coffee bar, and restaurant.. All were outstanding for the price per night and the value for the price is really good. Hyatt gained a customer on this trip, at least for Baytown as I will be staying here anytime I visit.

I cannot remember the last review that I have written however here I go.. I travel ALL of the time and I believed customer service to be dead. Not true with the Hyatt in Baytown Texas. From the moment I arrived I was treated better than I can remember when. Jordan (General manager?) spoke with me, welcomed me and shook my hand to welcome me. The front desk person (wish I knew her name, African American with a beautiful smile) gave me as nearly a perfect room that I have stayed in. Immaculate and spotless as far as cleanliness is concerned. I went next door to O'neals for the first two nights, great people but the food is sub-standard. For my last night I went to Anchor and Hearth, the restaurant on premise to the Hyatt Baytown. I was met with a smiling Claudia who was my server. Undecided I asked her opinion and she said that I have to try the Swordfish. I grew up on the beach and know how difficult it is to "crust" a swordfish fillet without drying it. Alejandro was the chef this evening and it was near perfect. Cannot say enough about my experience at the Hyatt Baytown. I used to stay at the airport but I will always return here.

Several of my coworkers recommended Hyatt Regency when on business so it's the hotel I reserved too. The hotel is relatively new and in a great location and well maintained. The staff were professional and polite. I had a view from the back of the hotel overlooking Tabbs Bay

This is a top new Hyatt hotel, all the things you would expect. Worth the drive. How is it that Hyatt allows dogs in a property like this? Are we really fooling ourselves that these 50 pound dog are not sleeping on the bed? And do you think Hyatt is paying to clean every duvet cover on every room where dogs are allowed? ||The least management could do would be to limit the dog owners to a single floor. Clearly these hotels don’t care about the unlucky few that are allergic to pet dander but who wants to sleep in a bed someone else’s dog was in the night before?

Amazing place with amazing views to the port and the industrial bay. Quietly and relax area, my recommendation is only with bar area in the night was only one guy attending and was overwhelmed by the people. Is the only issue that I’m see. The rest was an amazing experience.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure the event was successful. The staff was very friendly as well as the catering staff. Changes requested were made expeditiously and always with a smile from the staff/crew. Audio/Visual made sure everything was working; we had no issues the whole day. Recommend this location to anyone!

The chefs clearly take immense pride in their craft, evident in every dish served. Each plate was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that tantalized the taste buds. Way overly priced, doesn't serve breakfast, the air-conditioning doesn't work, the coffee pots in the room don't work. They had us change rooms due to over booking. Avoid this place if you can. Oh, and if you are a smoker, don't think about smoking outside of the front door. The manager will come out and tell you to move even when you are 25 feet from the door and 10 feet from the ashtray. Also, if you are here to work, they will tell you not to park your work trucks in the parking lot and seem embarrassed to have work crews staying in their hotel. It's as if work crews are not their typical clientele. Also, I woke up one morning with this funny, itchy bump that is giving off a strange ooz.

anyone who exercises and has to be in Baytown, this is your place to go. superior fitness facility. The rooms are really nice, not carpeted, so no stink. Night lights are motion detected under the bed and under the bathroom vanity...no need to flip on a switch. Highly recommend!

Charged my card twice, because the internet was down and they thought it didn't go thru, had to wait almost a week for charges to drop off. Was told no tub room avaliable upon check in but when I went back down stairs asked a different person and wow tub room avaliable within 30 min of me checking back again. Would never stay here again due to how rude check in person was when I told her to stop swiping my card over and over because it's showing up in my credit card statement. Showed her on my phone and she was still in denial because the internet was out at hotel and not coming across the computers. Then after I checked out early due to being upset that those extra charges still had not come off credit card, they had the nerve to call me to ask me to pay my hotel bill since they saw I checked out early. Thank God I had a paper receipt showing I had Paid already! After making complaint about this mess, received email to call and speak to a manager, yeah I called several times and never got thru. I'm over it, just wanted others to be aware. If the internet is ever out, don't let them keep swiping your credit cards, because the holds are on their and won't drop for several days.

Bar and restaurant there is not as advertised..... service at bar, needs improvement. O'Neal's next door saved the weekend!
