Sehr schön zur historischen Altstadt gelegen. Bequemes Bett und das Zimmer mit Terrasse hat beeindruckt. Genügend Steckdosen vorhanden ;-) Habe es auch nicht als hellhörig erlebt, was ja manchmal nerven kann. Große Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Tolles und sehr freundliches Team.

Wir waren während unserer Slowenien Rundreise zweimal im Occidental Hotel. Das erste mal den Deluxe Room mit einer Terrasse, die Zimmer Nummer 514 mit direkter Burg Sicht, das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, alles in weiß. Die Größe war nicht allzu groß aber auch nicht zu klein, hatte eine gute Größe. Da wir aus Paar in den Urlaub gefahren sind hat uns das modern Badezimmer nicht gestört ( wenig Privatsphäre). Das Zweite mal hatten wir das Zimmer 601 auch ein Deluxe Room mit einer Terrasse, aber nicht so eine gute Aussicht auf die Burg von Ljubljana, sonst war das Zimmer fast gleich, beide Zimmer hatten eine riesige Terrasse. Die Putzfrauen machten ihren Job super, war in einigen 5 Sterne 🌟 Hotel wo nicht so exakt gearbeitet wurde. Die Angestellten in der Rezeption waren freundlich, wie es so in einem 4 Sterne 🌟 Hotel sein sollte. Die Lage war am Rande der Altstadt, also Perfekt. Meine Freundin & ich können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Super friendly staff. Huge room and massive bed! Perfectly located to explore the city. We parked a short walk away from the hotel, which was way more affordable than the parking offered onsite

This Hotel is in a great location for all the things to do and eat in Ljubljana. The staff were excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great value for the money.

Excellent location. Excellent service. Very friendly staff anxious to help. Very modern hotel. Some issues with bar and dining facilities. Lack of staff and choice of menu.. Bedroom very comfortable but bathroom design poor - washbasin / vanity unit actually in bedroom - open plan with lack of privacy.

I stayed at a hotel in Ljubljana from 8th to 12th September 2024, booking three rooms for six people, including breakfast—or so I thought. After checking out, I was told everything was fine, only to receive an email later with an additional charge of over €200 for breakfast. Apparently, the booking only included breakfast for one person, despite booking for six, and the hotel failed to inform us of this at both check-in and check-out. This felt like a hidden cost they deliberately kept quiet about throughout our stay.||To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off at 5 AM on the 10th, disrupting our sleep. The hotel’s "compensation" for this inconvenience? A glass of beer—hardly worth it, especially considering the surprise breakfast fees.||The staff were also unwelcoming, adding to the overall disappointment. I booked this hotel based on its glowing reviews, but now I can’t help but wonder if they were paid or fake. Save your money and look elsewhere—this hotel is not worth the hassle or the hidden charges.

Comfortable and functional hotel, 5 minutes walk to the river, lots of restaurants and all the main attractions of the city. Bed super comfy (although 2 singles pushed together). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast expensive at €18 per person so we opted not to have that - plenty of lovely places nearby instead and a Lidl underneath the hotel. Only downside was the bizarre bathroom set up - open plan so a lack of privacy which could easily be rectified by adding a wall behind the sink and a door on the side. The toilet was behind a sliding door with an automatic light which came on when opened - this was very annoying when trying not to disturb your bed partner in the middle of the night. There was a fire alarm at 5.30am on one of the nights we were there which was due to a small incident in the kitchen. We received a letter later that morning offering us a free drink in the bar to apologise which was kind of them. Overall, would stay again - only with someone you’re very close with though! lol

The rooms are exactly what you would expect based from pictures and are comfortable and provide just enough space. The issue with this hotel is more from it's service. One night we were woken up by a 5:30 fire alarm (these things happen) and we're left a letter on our bed saying we could have a complimentary drink. When we went to the bar to get a drink we mentioned this (after waiting 10 minutes in an empty restaurant) and we were rudely told they won't give us anything unless we have the letter. We were told there were no additional charges to the room but upon leaving they charged our card for additional breakfasts (nothing was signed or disclosed by staff). Also after communicating numerous times around transport requirements needed to leave the hotel this was not done as requested.

We booked 3 rooms for 6 people. We have had bad experience from the minutes we stepped foot in the hotel. Staffs were not helpful, the checked in process took approximately 45 mins as we were told that the booking was cancelled (its not cancelled, the staff were not capable to find our booking correctly). Fire alarm went off at 4am. We were given an apology letter which mentioned for us to go to the bar for free drinks. We went to the bar just to be denied, and the staff mentioned to come back and bring the letter to show to them. Upon checked out, we got an extra €216 charge for breakfast. None of the staff made us aware of this surcharge for breakfast and instead we were told when we checked in that the room included breakfast. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel.

Very well located hotel as we were able to walk to everything. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful, the front desk provided recommendations for places to eat and things to do when we arrived. The only (minor) negative we experienced is that it was a bit of a wait when requesting amenities for our room. Would overall recommend!

An excellent hotel in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the Old City and many attractions, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Conveniently there is also a Lidl under the hotel for snacks! The room was very clean and had tea making facilities, a hairdryer, a clothes steamer and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. The hotel is less than a 20 minute walk to the bus or train station, and it is very easy to catch a bus for a day trip. We went to the Postojna Caves, which is well worth a visit. |It's worth noting that most shops close on a Sunday in Ljubljana, but most of the restaurants stayed open. |We would definitely recommend this comfortable, well positioned hotel.

A very nice and hip new hotel, tries its best to be funky yet minimalistic. For the most part, it succeeds very well because the rooms are comfortable and they have a lovely pillow menu. Bathrooms, however, are configured rather awkwardly with inadequate number of hangers. It is also impossible to close the bathroom and have a mat to dry your feet after it withour it being stuck when the door opened. Service was generally good and people were generally polite with the sole unpleasant experience of having a fire alarm go off at 5:30 am (it always HAS to be at that time doesn't it) but without any explanation over PA, leading to tons of guesrs evacuating, some in a panic. False alarm in the end, but better commumicatiom SOP is needed here. Location is great as a Lidl is just 2 minute walk away and you can reach town centre within 10 minutes walk!

Perfecte Lage, ganz neues Haus, sehr modern, tolle Betten und Bettwäsche.. Tiefgarage unter dem Hotel- Einfahrt seitlich an der Hauptstraße ( bitte ein Foto auf dir Homepage setzen) komme im Oktober wieder!!!
