Very friendly owner, clean room and good breakfast. Our room had a large balcony with great view over the mountains. This is one of the few hotels we've made a point of returning to.

What can I say, we are like part of the family, now. We have visited Penzion Livada for 25 years, me myself have been 37 times. I enjoyed it as much the last visit, as I did my first. If I stayed anywhere else I would be dissapointed. ||Rooms are clean and comfortable and tended daily, most offer fantastic views to the mountains in the Julian alps or down the valley to the italian border. Balconies are adorned with beautiful flowers throughout the summer.||You could not get a better breakfast anywhere, Buffet cold meats and cheeses, fruit and pickles, cerials and seeds and much more. Eggs cooked how you like then with bacon or ham, scrambled, boiled, poached or fried, I could go on. Home made Jams, cakes and pastries, made by mums and local farms make it extra special. A very wide selection is available so there is something for everyone. On nice sunny days you can eat breakfast outside on the terrace and enjoy a couple of drinks in the pagoda whilst watching the world go by.||I feel very much at home here.

Back at the Livada 24 years after our first visit. Exactly the same standards as we loved all those years ago. Aleš and Ingrid work tirelessly to ensure that everything is as it should be for their guests. A great breakfast, spotless accommodation and friendly suggestions of local places to visit. Nothing is too much trouble for the Novak family. We will definitely be back, but we will not leave it as long next time.

Very hospitable owners. At breakfast every morning the owner asked if he can make us any dishes (traditional fried breakfast dishes, or pancakes) in addition to the already good buffet breakfast. There's also a supermarket 10m from the hotel, so the location is very convenient if you prefer to cook for yourself. The few minuses: - No airconditioning in rooms - The town itself is mainly residential area & accommodations

Waren unterwegs Richtung Heimat 🇨🇭,sind 3 Wochen mit Motorrädern unterwegs gewesen ,in Kroatien,am heimgang habe wir diese super schöne Pension gesehen ,es war sehr schön und die Chefin plus Mann und ihre Tochter waren sehr nett ,es stimmt alles sauber und gutes Frühstück ,nochmals vielen 💕 dank und liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz 🇨🇭 Vreni und Emil

Wir machen hier schon seit Jahren immer wieder ein übernachtung wenn wir in den Urlaub fahren oder auf den Weg nach Hause sind.( wir sind Motorradfahrer) Sehr sauberes Hotel mit guten und reichhaltigen Frühstück .Netter Wirt der ein das Gefühl gibt das man wirklich willkommen ist . Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden ,einer sogar unterm Dach um die Motorräder zu parken . Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr freundlich und Entgegenkommend, sehr gut fand ich, dass direkt bei Ankunft einiges über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten erklärt wurde. Das Personal spricht deutsch und andere Sprache, was die Kommunikation natürlich deutlich vereinfacht. In dieser Preiskategorie also sicher 5 Sterne.
