I arrived equipped for a walking holiday. I left with so much more. An experience for the senses which will stay with me forever. Breathtaking forest and mountain vistas were only part of the fabulous week. The unexpected bonus was the exceptional warmth and attention to absolutely every detail, by Zana and Luka. Their humble generosity was truly inspirational and a model to follow and inspire. I thank them sincerely for a week of friendship and luxury experiences.

Everything about Pri Lenart is exceptional. From the moment we arrived and had our first, of many, drinks on the balcony we knew we were in for a fabulous week.Žana and Luka were wonderful hosts who introduced us to their incredible Slovenian food and wine and then took us on walks through their postcard-like surrounding countryside and places like Lake Bled to help us work off some of the calories!||Pri Lenart is a beautifully restored old home and barn that have been converted into an amazing hotel for up to eight guests. The rooms are spacious and feature the original timber ceilings and floors and extremely comfortable beds with beautiful bedding and toiletries. ||Each day following a long walk we would return to the outside balcony for a cup of tea or coffee and a fresh home-made cake. Some guests would then go for a spa to ease their muscles. The inside lounge was the perfect place to relax and chat and have a pre-dinner drink followed by an amazing Žana-prepared meal served with very good local wines.||Overall, our experience at Pri Lenart absolutely exceeded our expectations.

As with other reviewers, I can't rate Pri Lenart highly enough. It is worth 11/10. From the first enquiry with Luka you could see that they were super responsive and helpful. The accommodation is wonderful - in a small private hotel in a historic building that is beautifully maintained and spotless. The location is beautiful - near pretty mountainous areas and stunning scenery. The walks were somewhat challenging but so rewarding. The country side is diverse and beautiful, and we were taken on a variety of different routes. The hospitality is second to none. Luka and Zana were incredibly generous with their sharing of their culture and traditions. I felt like I had an insiders view of the country and its traditions and way of life. It was so special to be able to feel like you really could see the insights of this lovely country. And I have to mention the truely fantastic meals provided by Zana and served by Luka. It was of an incredibly high standard and complimented by lovely local wines. |I felt like I had been welcomed into a family - so different to the usual tourist experience. It surpassed my expectations and will remain in my memory as a wonderful holiday. Thank you both.

This has to rate as one of my best trips,. From the start, the Hotel, which I hesitate to call a ' hotel' as it was a beautiful traditional home. The location in the rolling hills, home cooking by Žana, accompanied by after dinner Schnapps with Luca, the walks and the company of the rest of the 6 guests couldn't have been better. Thankyou

Our hosts Žana and Luka exceeded expectations providing us with both a memorable hiking and culinary experience. Pri Lenart maybe a hotel but it feels like a home away from home. The meals are superbly crafted journeys through tradition and are plentiful.

Wonderful walking holiday, with breathtaking scenery and historical homestead all perfectly curated by hosts Luka and Zana. |The accomodation is very comfortable, the food was great, accompanied by local wines and home made schnapps. |Afternoon tea , and pre dinner drinks with canapés were a treat we looked forward to each day. |Dinner at a farmhouse with a local family was a wonderful touch of Slovenian living but the real treat are hosts Zana and Luka. These amazing humans will share with you life stories, history, and unbridled generosity .You will laugh and cry with them . |A great group of fellow walkers rounded out our stay here . |Great communication from Luka pre walk .|Don’t hesitate to book .

Luca received us with a big smile when we arrived at Pri Lenart. From this moment on we had already a good feeling. And in the end this seemed to be the case. |The stay at Pri Lenart is all about making new friends with different backgrounds with at first sight only walking in nature as common interest. It gave us also the opportunity to meet the local people with the help of the excellent guides.|Breakfast, lunch for the walks, dinner and the trips were organised to perfection. This seemed effortless for Zana and Luca. Everything was done to please us. This week-long adventure offers diverse hiking, excellent food, amazing Slovenian hospitality and the opportunity to meet your new best friends from around the globe. Everything is top-notch but comfortable and welcoming. Many of the guest are repeat visitors thanks to Zana and Luka.

Žana and Luka have hit upon the perfect combination of stunning location, superb organisation, wonderfully varied food and a welcome that is second to none. The hotel is small (with just 8 guests) and situated in an historic building typical of the area. ||The guided walks are interesting, have an appropriate degree of challenge and give an opportunity to learn something of the history of Slovenia and the way of life experienced high in the mountains whilst puffing up the "Slovenian Flat" to the next viewpoint. ||Žana is a genius in the kitchen with never a dull meal and Luka constantly on hand to administer beverages of every description. Eating an evening meal with a local farming family is an experience not to be forgotten; likewise the Schnapps at every opportunity!||Of course, none of this happens by accident and the high quality of the holiday and the happy faces of the guests is testament to the hard work and effort this lovely couple and their team of helpers put in to making our stay one that will stay long in the memory.
