Despite the good location (on the outskirts, so quiet and easy access to the highway) and nice staff I would not recommend this hotel at least from spring to anyone. The main reason is actually that the building is oriented east-west. That means you stay either on the eastern side (like my wife and me) or on the western side (like our friends), which means, either the sun will pop into the room directly at 06:00 o'clock or in the afternoon. Yes, that's just so extreme! In addition, the facade of the building is single-layered with black elements and provided inside with thick black curtains. Despite all that and the air conditioning with 10 °C (!), it was so warm and bright around 10:00 am that we both couldn't stay in the room. Furthermore, there are metal elements on the facade, which with warming (that happens with the help of the sun) makes strong stretching noises, so that you can no longer sleep without earplugs. Down at the front desk, we met different guests who complained about the unbearable warmth of the room. At the check-out we got the question, if everything was ok. We honestly and openly answered that like this review that we regret to have paid such an amount for an unpleasant stay, consisting of 3 nights. The lady promised us to discuss that with the management and to give us some feedback. However, we got a finished cover letter, that the hotel apologizes and nothing more. For the price we paid, we could easily stay at any hotel in Ljubljana and enjoy these nights. So, again, maybe it would be nice in the wintertime but not in the spring or summer...
