Sunrose7 was recommended to us by a local food providore. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is beautifully appointed and overlooks the stunning grounds and the food was sublime.

We stayed for one night at Sunrose 7 and had a lovely relaxing time. The staff are all very friendly. We didn’t get to use all the facilities unfortunately. The bedroom was super comfortable. The breakfast was really nice with the most amazing corn bread. We would visit again.

We had a fabulous stay at Sunrise 7. Located next to a stream on the outskirts of town, this lovely boutique hotel was our base for 5 nights in Slovenia. ||Our room, a town classic, was very quiet, comfortable and well appointed. ||The restaurant was in a gorgeous room with huge windows looking out to the garden, pool and stream. Breakfasts consisted of a buffet with plenty of options plus a couple of specialties each day prepared to order in the kitchen. Dinner was a set multi course menu which changed each night. Dinners were huge and absolutely delicious. The staff provided good wine suggestions as we were unfamiliar with Slovenian wines.||All staff we encountered at the hotel were lovely and couldn't have done more for us.||Unfortunately it was a little cool to take advantage of the gorgeous outdoor areas while we were there but in warmer weather it would be lovely to sit outside by the stream. The pool looked great too.. ||A couple of things to note - the hotel is "digital detox" meaning no television or wifi. You can ask for a wifi network to use but it didn't work for us. No dramas, we knew this when we booked so all good here.. Also the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday nights, so there is nothing at all for dinner in the hotel on these nights. Plenty of restaurants in town, but not of the same high standard of Sunrose 7.||All in all a lovely boutique hotel..

Slovenia is green and very beautiful and this is an excellent hotel to base yourself from, comfy bed and rooms offered everything we needed, 'digital detox' by design so no TV and WiFi password available on request. Breakfast has lots of choice and eggs to order, staff friendly and helpful. A bonus in the room was a window/day bed, great for relaxing with a book. Our adult kids had an upstairs room with a garden view and arm chair. Fine dining in the evening was great. Pool is refreshing after a day out and was never busy, always somewhere to sit with sun or shade. A very relaxing stay and we hope to return to explore a bit further or possibly ski.

We are a family of four ( three vegetarians and one vegan). We made an advance booking for dinner and informed them of our requirements. We were received well and accommodated at a corner table that gave us a good view of the courtyard and restaurant. Our waiter remained discreetly attentive from the start to the finish -he added to our culinary experience with his subtle sense of humour . Same goes for our sommelier who was both attentive and informative and assisted in selecting the right Slovenian wines -they were all exemplary. Whilst I could write reams in praise of the food , I must restrain myself to saying that all the courses were unique, subtle blends of taste , beautifully presented & served and devine to taste .They tickled our taste buds throughout ! We are surprised that the Chef does not have a Michelin star or two - it's well deserved. We would say that , as vegan and vegetarian clients , this establishment is now second on our list in the world - and we travel - a lot and across the world ! The ambience is great with plants placed startegically between tables and an overall theme of wood tones ,black and gold is serene and warm . I must allude to the toilets ( for men) : clean, moody and with a great ambient fragrance ! All in all , we cannot find fault - much as we like to as informed diners 🙂 We compliment the Chef on her/his skills and recommend , unreservedly, the establishment to all vegans and vegetarians

Charming hotel in a beautifully quaint setting. We did not use the Aquapark or Spa facilities so cannot comment. Pros: - Catered well to our vegan dietary requirements - Hotel is very clean and elegantly decorated - Staff are professional and helpful. Special shout out to Christina who served us for breakfast each morning and was an absolute delight! - Quiet and relaxing ambience throughout the hotel - Outdoor dining area was beautifully kept Cons: - Breakfast options felt repetitive over our 7 night stay. More variety and less tired looking items would be appreciated! - Air conditioning in the room did not work well - Housekeeping felt a little basic for the price paid - At £180 per room per night, I wouldn’t class the hotel as good value for money

Heel mooi hotel met een prachtige tuin en zwembad. Heel rustig en mooi gelegen.|Het personeel is supervriendelijk.|Onze kamer was klein maar heel mooi.|2 kleine opmerkingen:|De airco was niet heel krachtig en er is een scherpe metalen rand aan het bed waar we ons aan verwond hebben.

We stood earlier this year for three nights. We were welcomed with a none alcoholic drink of choice and a room upgrade. Breakfast buffet with eggs etc freshly made on demand. Delicious. One night we treated ourselves with the course dinner and wine pairing. 4 different courses + small pre starter and some cookies at the end 3 different wines, generous glasses One thing on the menu wasn't to my taste, without hesitation they subsided it with something suitable to my taste. Highly recommend the hotel and especially the food. For us more than a 3 Star hotel! We did not really use the spa options. Can't say something about it. If it weren't that far away for us we'd probably be regular guest. Thanks to the team for making the stay special. (: Peaceful, quiet and relaxing.

I took a bite, only to feel the unmistakable signs of an allergic reaction. In a panic, we questioned the waiter, who nonchalantly revealed the presence of walnut cream in the dish. We rushed to the emergency room, narrowly escaping a fatal anaphylactic shock. The complete disregard for my well-being by the staff at Sunrose is beyond disappointing—it's inhumane. Never in my life have I encountered such callousness and incompetence from people who are supposed to ensure their guests' safety and comfort. Their lack of empathy and basic understanding of food allergies is shocking.||Read their response to my girlfriend to see the neglect and lack of empathy firsthand. The way they dismissed our legitimate concerns and trauma is appalling. They even had the audacity to compare bringing cigarettes to a meal to serving an allergen that could have killed me. Bringing illegal drugs like cigarettes has nothing to do with putting someone’s life in danger through sheer negligence!||Now, whenever I think about Sunrose, I can't help but scrutinize every dining experience and appreciate establishments that prioritize basic human decency and safety protocols. It's astonishing how a place that markets itself as a peaceful retreat could be so negligent and dismissive of something as critical as food allergies. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the staff, whose negligence and incompetence not only ruined our stay but also endangered my boyfriend's life.||||Upon check-in, we immediately informed the receptionist, Ms. Ajda, about my boyfriend's severe food allergies, emphasizing the life-threatening nature of his condition. We specifically detailed his allergies, including nuts and beans, and stressed the importance of knowing every ingredient in his meals. Ms. Ajda assured us she was taking note of everything.||||When we made our dinner reservation, we reiterated these allergies to Ms. Ajda and her colleague, again stressing the critical importance of avoiding allergens. They appeared to take our concerns seriously, making notes as we spoke. Despite these precautions, the kitchen's first offering contained lentils, which we informed them about twice before consumption.||||However, the situation took a drastic turn for the worse with the next course. The waiter served us a dish featuring prosciutto with greens, orange, and caramel. No walnuts! After my boyfriend took a bite, he immediately felt the onset of an allergic reaction. Our concerns were dismissed, and we were ultimately thrown out of the hotel for insisting that my boyfriend's life was recklessly endangered due to their failure to adhere to basic allergy protocols.||||To add insult to injury, we had to pay a medical bill of €130, which the hotel refused to refund. The beautiful setting of Sunrose is overshadowed by the appalling behavior and utter lack of professionalism of its staff. Das Hotel war wunderbar gelegen neben einem rauschenden Bach. Die Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich und wir hatten eine schöne Aussicht auf den Garten. Wir haben das leckere Essen, den Pool und die Lage sehr genossen. Das Ambiente des Hotels ist sehr einladend und ansprechend. Einziger Punktabzug ist, dass man den Spa Bereich nicht kostenfrei nutzen konnte. Das hätte unseren Aufenthalt nochmal bereichert.

I’ve never been to a hotel that doesn’t allow guest to use facilities….very odd. Yes there is the option to use one of the road, this feels like a public facility and not very nice. The pool is nice but the constant echos of screaming children was unbearable |- No tea & coffee making facilities in room|Room had a rather unpleasant mouldy smell|- At dinner we asked for tap water given that Slovenia has the best tap water in Europe. We were outraged to be told that we couldn’t have it but had to pay an extortionate price for little bottles. Just ridiculous ||We enjoyed our stay but not because of the hotel, if was the surrounding area. The views, the small village & Lake Bohinj are just lovely. Quite honestly I would stay somewhere else than a spa hotel where you cannot use the spa.

Niche boutique hotel with upscale gourmet restaurant that also caters to diet requests. Wine choices were spectacular and Sauna was a much appreciated treat after a 30 mile bike ride.

L’accueil est excellent dans cet hôtel calme et moderne.|Il faut surtout y aller pour son restaurant exceptionnel. Qui mériterait une étoile Michelin. |Les plats sont variés, raffinés et très bien présentés. |Les vins locaux proposés sont parfaitement adaptés.|Le petit déjeuner est également de très bonne qualité, le même chef étant aux fourneaux.
