a lot of insects in the evening, horrible breakfast for a 5 star hotel, when you come late theres no food, staff friendly, however the rooms are kinda nice but you can hear your neighbours talking, for me a 3 star hotel + extremely overpriced for the quality it has

A beautiful property right on Lamai beach. It’s a pretty big resort style hotel and has some nicely designed rooms and bathrooms. If you are looking for a bit of luxury and want to stay in the cooler part of Samui then I would recommend this hotel especially if you are with a family. The accessibility to the beach is great and it’s isn’t far from some of the other beautiful beaches of Samui.

We stayed in a beachfront villa with a private pool. Absolutely amazing. Spotless and the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The restaurants food wasn’t really that great. If you can I highly recommend Le Spa for a massage.

Listen, this is the perfect hotel, perfect service from the beautiful person that is Piak (who runs the show) and her team. The chef, who is class, spoke to me and taught me his simple stir fry technique and cooked me a portion in front of me. Such beautiful people here it's change us as people and we WILL be back! The rooms are exceptional, well priced and the setting is unbelievable. Beach access, beautiful pool with plenty of beds. Beautiful beautiful people providing exceptional service. Tree and M were exceptional and we love you guys and your hotel! We will be back!

The good:|Breakfast was very good. Actually the best facet of this hotel. Relatively spacious bathroom. Easy access to talk to staff via WhatsApp. Gym was good. Shortcut to the exit via the downstairs entry was handy and close to our room.||The bad:|On first impressions there were a few things that stood out. Firstly the hotel uniforms for staff were quite bizarre - just a plain white shirt and trousers, not professional, particularly for a so called 5 star hotel (it definitely is not).|Most of the poolside lounge bed mattresses were stained and needed replacement. We never went to the main pool for this reason and stayed in a pool access room - of which some of these access pools are shaded so doesn't get much sun and hence cooler than standard Thai pools. Moreover, the tiling in the pools generally looked run down, stained and in need of refurbishing, and often had a lot of dirt and leaves. The hotel in general - the villa roofing for instance - seems like it needs a major overhaul to bring it up to a modern standard and has seen better days. Bathroom shower temperature was intermittent with low water pressure.||Staff wise, we needed to prompt the staff to do a night time turn down for our room (again, what you would consider standard in a 5 star hotel - they said they only do that for the best villas). They only replaced our water as we drank it rather than giving us the same amount of water every day so we had to go to the gym to pick up additional complimentary waters.||The pier is not a jetty in case you're wondering; it's a series of floating buoys linked together. The beach looked very swamp like and not indicative of the photos - though maybe this is just the tide when we visited. So called happy hour cocktails are overpriced at 390 baht for a pina colada. When we got to breakfast at 10:20am (10 minutes before breakfast finished) we were prompted to 'hurry up' to make sure we got our food in time.|Overall, at approximately $320 AUD per night (this is a discounted rate mind you) this is extremely overpriced for what you get. Would not return.

The Lamai is a beautiful resort just North of Lamai directly on Lamai Beach. Great location very very quiet. Close enough to walk to Main Street about 10/15mins but we hired a scooter through resort which made everything so easy. Actioned through What’s App which was super helpful while staying here. Exceptionally clean, great staff, very professional & friendly. We could not fault this resort we loved our time here & the Lamai Area which is chilled & relaxed.

We stayed at The Lamai for almost a week. It is a fantastic hotel, beautiful art. Quiet and relaxing. The views are beautiful. Make sure to not miss their happy hour from 6-7:30pm every night on the pier with magical views of the sunset. Pool was quiet, with lounge music. Breakfast is complimentary, and was great (fresh fruit, fresh juices, some breads & viennoiseries, thai food and a made to order omelette station). They also had many options of milk (oat, soy, etc) which is a big plus. Their dinner was a bit disappointing as it is quite expensive compared to most restaurants, dishes were small and some lacked flavor. The service was always excellent. The room is beautiful with all the amenities needed. The only downside is.. the bathroom is outdoor and there are tons of mosquitoes in that area of the room. The hotel does provide a mosquito spray and some humidifier-mosquito repellent in the room. You cannot keep the doors open as the mosquitoes will quickly get in the room. They offer complimentary kayaks to use and explore the area. The service at the hotel is top notch - similar to the Four Seasons. Anything you need or want, they will make it happen.

Situated on a pictutesque beach with Instatastic views and sunsets, The Lamai is a fantastic place to stay on Koh Samui. Their airport pick-up assured a smooth and easy arrival and they checked us in quickly and efficiently as it is low season. Every single staff member impressed us with their attention to detail and personalized service. What an exceptional hotel in terms of customer care. Add to that their fabulous food (authentic Thai and world cuisine), cocktails at sunset happy hour, the awesome pools and luxurious rooms. Everything you need to relax and enjoy this paradise island right at your fingertips. Do this in Koh Samui!!

The hotel is on the beach ⛱️ but the beach is not usable. Thankfully we had a room next to a pool or our vacation would have been hot and uncomfortable. The hotel pool closes at 6 pm.

1。接待人員非常親切有禮 2。地點稍遠，建議租車或你可以選擇待在裡頭度假⛱️ 3。看得出來飯店很用心維護整體環境，他們每天都認真地清潔和養護著植物 4。早餐有不同選擇，但我覺得味道很普通，我煮的更好吃。 4。誠心建議：好好選擇咖啡豆吧！在早餐時刻提供一杯好咖啡，絕對值得。 這才配得上你們的用心經營。 5。泳池很棒，舒服，躺椅也舒適❤️乾淨 6。建議泳池跟海灘的植物景觀可以更低，讓住客視野良好，直視大海。 沒必要遮住視線。大海是你們的優勢 7。空調難以控制到期待的溫度，通常會變得太冷，但整體來說不會讓人難受。房內感受還算舒服，氛圍很棒，我們住二樓自己有SP池，我喜歡 8。很安靜，非常適合度假 一間很不錯的度假飯店，小地方可以更調整、讓感受更精緻，那就是五星級plus 啦！

Where to start? This is an excellent hotel with staff to match. As soon as we arrived we were greeted so well. Our room was fantastic with pool access which was great. The hotel restaurant team were brill and so friendly. This hotel is a must if you want to be spoilt by a great team. ||A big thank you to Tree and the whole restaurant team. Also, a huge thank you to Tun from the restaurant team, he was so helpful and attentive, a huge asset to an already wonderful team.

We Spent 5 nights at The Lamai as a family in a poolside villa. Lovely room, really friendly staff and the hotel has a nice relaxed atmosphere. ||Great breakfast. We only at at the hotel on the first night - which was okay.||There is plenty of space to sit by the pool and didn’t feel crowded.

Our stay at The Lamai Hotel had its positives, such as the friendly staff and convenient WhatsApp access, along with fitness facilities and a lush outdoor area. However, those aspects were somewhat overshadowed by the downsides. Maintenance issues like rusty lamps, broken pool beams and filthy sun bed pillows & covers were noticeable. The breakfast fell short of five-star standards, with lackluster food presentation and lukewarm coffee. Additionally, the concept of outdoor toilets felt unnecessary, especially in temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.Regarding room service, we found that our rooms were often left uncleaned until we personally contacted the reception after 3pm each day. This inconsistency in housekeeping was disappointing and disrupted our comfort during the stay. Furthermore, while the rooms themselves were nicely appointed, they tended to feel a bit dim, which affected the overall ambiance. One major issue was the air conditioning; it was difficult to set the right temperature, direction, or power. Without it, the room was unbearably hot, but when turned on, the airflow was too strong and directed uncomfortably. Improving the maintenance standards, including the air conditioning system, and enhancing the timeliness and thoroughness of housekeeping would significantly enhance the guest experience at The Lamai Hotel.

5/5 it was an AMAZING experience. So quite and boutique. I’m coming back here again with my parents and friends. Its crazy how calm the place is. It was elegant, sophisticated and it felt so private. We stayed in the Plunge pool room, so worth it. Going in for a dip after long sweaty day outside feels so refreshing

Accueil exceptionnel et lieu exceptionnel.||En effet, il n’y a vraiment rien à redire concernant cet hôtel.||La chambre est incroyable avec sa petite piscine privée et sa salle de bain en plein air. |L’hôtel est extrêmement calme.||Le petit déjeuner est incroyable également avec une vue imprenable sur la piscine et la mer.||L’hôtel propose également des kayaks pour se baigner sur l’immense bâche d’eau.||Nous pouvons rejoindre lamai centre en 15 min par la plage et la balade est très agréable.||Une mention spéciale pour le bar sur l’eau, et notamment à l’ensemble de l’équipe F&B pour leur investissement.||Merci à Tun et nous lui souhaitons une belle carrière en Thaïlande.
