Cocktail bar on the ground floor is nice. Definitely a date night spot. Our server was very sweet and not too pushy. Great selection of cocktails.

We love The Post Oak Hotel and have stayed there many times. The hotel staff does a great job making your entire experience seamless. This is an elegant, well-run hotel. It has been open for a few years but still feels brand new and fresh. It's a luxury experience where everything is taken care of, but you don't see anyone feverishly running around. This is the type of stay we love.

The Post Oak Hotel I had the opportunity to be part of this work group in the housekeeping department and it is something so wonderful that until now I could say that it is the best experience of my life, if you have the opportunity never hesitate to go you will be able to find an excellent leader like Miss ARLENE and also Mr. Chaus, the room supervisors like Miss LINDA, VERONITA OR ALSO GLENDA the laundry manager makes sure that everything is perfect, Mr. Pablo Cordoba is an excellent group and if you can greet Miguel Zaragoza or Jose Lopez perhaps they are some of the best people you will meet in your life, thank you very much for everything. Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by the seamless integration of technology with comfort. One of the standout features was the room’s tablet, which allowed me to control everything with ease—from the drapes to the lighting, making the space feel personalized to my preferences. The attention to detail in the room's design, the comfort of the furnishings, and the overall ambiance were simply top-notch. And let’s not forget the thoughtful welcome amenity, which added an extra layer of hospitality to the experience. The amenities at The Post Oak are something to marvel at. I spent some time at the pool area, and trust me, photos and videos just don’t capture how stunning it is in person. With downtown Houston serving as a backdrop, especially during golden hour, the views are breathtaking. The pool area is spacious, tranquil, and the perfect place to relax after a day in the city. Whether you're lounging poolside or exploring the hotel grounds, the level of luxury is evident in every detail. One of the unique aspects of The Post Oak is the clientele it caters to. During my stay, I happened to be on the same floor as celebrities like Kate Michelle and Chris Middleton, which speaks to the exclusivity of the hotel. The Post Oak sets the trend in luxurious hotels. Everything from the vibe, staff, food, decor and rooms in on point, consistently. My first experience at The Post Oak set the trend for my move to Houston. I fell in love with River Oaks and the homes near by - I'll be moving there next year! *Unjust Treatment and Questionable Practices at a Luxury Hotel * My experience at the Post Oak Hotel was profoundly disappointing. On the second night of my stay, the hotel failed to secure an adequate deposit initially and subsequently attempted to charge my credit card twice, triggering a fraud alert. I was notified of this issue late in the evening while I was out enjoying dinner. Shockingly, within an hour, the hotel locked me out of my room, causing undue stress, embarrassment, and significant inconvenience. The manner in which I was treated was not only distasteful but deeply unsettling. This experience suggests a troubling flaw in the hotel’s policies, or perhaps something more concerning, such as discriminatory practices. I will certainly not be returning.
