Das Hotel hätte viel Potential, wäre es neu renoviert und würde Mobiliar und Badezimmer der Luxusklasse bieten. Einmal mehr verpasst es Slowenien, eines seiner besten Hotellocations entsprechend auszustatten. Nebst der Vila Bled ist auch das Grand Toplice Bled grosses verlorenes Potential.

Incredible place and location. Too bad it is not maintained or upgraded, old yugoslavian villa, cool but definitely needs some tough love and care. Could be 5*, now its more like 3* The outside is beautiful, especially the garden.

An interesting place, and overall we enjoyed our stay (lakeview suite) but it's rough around the edges in places and wasn't exactly up to what you would expect for the money (+300 euro per night). It must have been quite a place in it's heyday but it's definitely due for some updating||Pros: interesting old space, lovely grounds (some more outdoor seating would be nice), private swimming area and boat house. Dinner in the dining room was quite good albeit a minimum of 100 Euros. The view from the suite was absolutely stunning. Staff were helpful and friendly||Cons: breakfast was pretty sad the first morning and even sadder on the second morning with even fewer options. for $1000 CAD for two nights there I'd expect a shower without any mildew (there was lots). No AC

Incantevole villa sul lago, giardino enorme, bello e ben tenuto, essendo la residenza estiva di Tito sembra di tornare indietro negli anni 70, tenuto benissimo, pulito, gentilissima la signorina bionda alla reception ampio parcheggiom spiaggia privata con servizi eccellenti, tra l'altro gli ospiti hanno diritto all'utilizzo della barca a remi per raggiungere l'isolotto al centro del lago. Sublime la colazione, buffet abbondante e location superlativa con vista lago (del resto era la villa di Tito) esperienza bellissima

Location: sublime. Room: large and comfortable. Staff: friendly, warm and helpful. Views : extraordinary. Ease of parking: 10/10. Food served at dinner: Michelin star quality. Decked area on the shore with facilities: a gem, don’t tell anyone, you will waste happy hours here. Vibe: some people say it’s a little dated. It is. And I LOVED it! This hotel has a glorious secret, a large room with a fantastic Tito/Soviet Union era mural on its vast walls. My first ever holiday was as a nipper in 70s communist era Yugoslavia and this wonderful mural brought it all back. In summary: Vila Bled is perfect.

An amazing site! The feeling of elegance as soon as you travel down the main driveway. The rooms are generally quite large and with all amenities. The dining room for breakfast is well-appointed and provides the option of dining on the terrace overlooking the blue lake Bled. Beds were comfortable and water pressure excellent for showering. Attractive grounds to stroll. A private ‘beach club’ on the waterfront offers a wide deck, lounge chairs and towels and bar service. Ladders can be used to take a dip in the pristine and clear waters of the lake. Rowboats and kayaks are available free of charge.

The villa itself is very unique and full of history. The interior is marvelous, and so are the surroundings. You can walk in the park and go to the private beach to enjoy the views even more on the tanning chairs. However, the hotel can´t maintain the high-quality service expected for a villa. I stayed in the suite, and it got so warm during the day that it was impossible to stay in the room. I had to open the door to get some air. The breakfast was quite average. They offered champagne which was great but no pancakes or porridge for the kids. At breakfast, they offered a regular coffee, and you had to pay extra if you wanted a cappuccino. Even 2-star hotels have nowadays proper bean-to-cup coffee machines. But the villa itself is glamorous and straight at the lake.

çok fazla otelde kaldım ama burası bir başkaydı. kaldığım en farklı en keyifli oteldi. sanki peri masalındaydım. kahvaltısı bol çeşitli, özel plajı, manzarası, ücretsiz sandal hizmeti. yalnızca odaları biraz daha bakımlı olabilirdi. bu otele 2. sınıf odalar yakışmamış.

Kaldığım en huzurlu otellerden biri oldu. Hizmet harikaydı. Ücretsiz sandal hizmeti, dolu dolu kahvaltısı, özel beach imkanıyla tekrar gitmemizi sağladı.

Vila Bled no longer lives up to their reputation. Like many old hotels, their prime has passed. Our shower leaked, which flooded the bathroom. The front desk could not be bothered with this issue. The front desk could not send up housekeeping,spare towels, nor come take a look himself. I attempted to reach the front desk 12 times over 5 hours to make sure they were aware of the standing water, no answer. Finally went down, and no one was at the front desk. He was nowhere to be found. Finally the night front desk was concerned enough to let us know the handyman would be at the room first thing in the morning. Handyman did come. But only slight improvement to the problem. Unfortunately due to Vila Bled's disregard of safety and lack of follow through, the flooding continued the next day. I slipped in the bathroom. I again let them know this is a safety issue and why. They yet again could not be bothered to do anything about it. Be careful if you stay here. If they try to assign you room 208, ask if the shower was ever fixed... They knew about the issue for weeks before we stayed there. Yet again, did nothing.
