Villa Majda

Siamo andati per curiosità non avendo potuto prenotare il nostro matrimonio, e siamo rimasti sorpresi della lication molto elegante e circondata dalla natura e dalla pace che ci circondava.||Abbiamo mangiato il menù degustazione da 5 portate e gli chef assieme al responsabile di sala sono da stelle michelin nel vero senso della parola. Ci torneremo di sicuro e garantiremo la Villa!

Splendida location in un casolare ristrutturato in modo eccellente in Slovenia a poca distanza dal confine italiano. Cucina gourmet di altissimo livello. Sapori antichi declinati in modo sapiente in chiave moderna. Personale molto cortese. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità del menu. Consigliatissimo.

Villa Majda is a wonderful boutique hotel, suitable for all who want to spend a peaceful and relaxed holiday.||Nice ambience, the rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished, very clean.||The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, I can’t find the right words for their hospitality.||The food is top quality and prepared from local ingredients, they also have a rich wine collection of the surrounding winemakers.||In short, a top experience, I warmly recommend!

Villa Majda je čudovit butični hotel, primeren za vse, ki si želijo preživeti miren in sproščen dopust. Lep ambient, sobe so udobne in okusno opremljene, čistoča 10/5. Osebje je neverjetno prijazno in strokovno, za njihovo gostoljubnost ne najdem pravih besed. Hrana je vrhunska in pripravljena iz lokalnih sestavin, imajo tudi bogato zbirk vin okoliških vinarjev. Na kratko, vrhunsko doživetje, toplo priporočam!

We stayed 6 days in Villa Majda. Especially the hospitality has to be mentioned. A cold platter was already prepared when we arrived in the afternoon and the restaurant was closed - so nice and extremely well prepared with local specialties. | Also important the room had a floor heating, which so early in the year with cold nights is extremely nice, as other palces do not even have a proper heating. Breakfast was fantastic. Distance to the Sea 20 min drive.|What I would recommend is, that if you stay there and you want it quite - guess it would be good, if there is no wedding or other event taking place. In our room (2020) we could hear the movement of the chairs in the restaurant and the voices clearly. But as the restaurant closes at 22.00 this was no issue.

Dopo una lunga chiusura sia per una ristrutturazione per cambio proprietà e per le ben più note vicende pandemiche , riapre il ristorante Majda rinominato ora Villa Majda dato che si trova all’interno di una struttura Bed & Breakfast molto carina in stile Shabby Chic…ancora presto per dirlo ma la presentazione del menù incentrato tutto su prodotti e fornitori locali ambisce sicuraMente a qualche riconoscimento! Le foto parlano da sole! Da affinare ancora un po’ il wine pairing non perfettamente riuscito. Il conto il linea con le aspettative di un menù degustazione da 7 portate .

Villa Majda it is a perfect place to escape from every day croudy cityes. ||Amazing kitchen with dishes from young chefs, they started with a traditional istrian ingredients with modern impact. ||Wine pairing good, you can try wines from local winemakers .||I can racommemd the place for romantic days and nights, as you can book a room after culynaric exsperiences. ||Keep on.

Ristorante aperto da pochissimo, è una villa a meno di un chilometro dal confine italiano. Location bellissima, arredamento elegante che crea un’atmosfera accogliente e intima. Cucina gourmet di ottimo livello, paragonabile a quella di molti ristoranti stellati italiani. Materie prime locali di alta qualità e cucinate con gran rispetto. Prezzi adeguati a qualità, location e servizio. Meno di 5, 7 o 9 portate. Preso menu da 5 portate (che in realtà sono diventate 7, più aperitivi, stuzzichini e prosciutto del Carso spettacolare) a 65€ più 22€ di accompagnamento vini. Complimenti!!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Everything is so well decorated and fancy I love it. Employes are so nice, polite and welcoming. I stayed for two days and it was so comfortable and clean I can’t wait to come back. Their restaurant is delicious, their menu is unique and special as well as breakfast. I recommend!
