We realized that we had some communication obstacles using Slovenian as well as English, only to find out that the pizza chef and owner is Italian, so we continued in Italian. The point is we had a real Italian pizza and it was perfect. That was at the beginning of June and in fact we ran away from a sudden summer shower so we sat inside and the atmosphere Interior was like in a genuine trattoria. Not much of the decoration. However the location is perfect, just across the busy farmers market and the cathedral.

Never got a table cleaned up, so we couldn’t eat and simply went to another restaurant.

Michele e la sua truppa hanno trasportato qui il sapere della cucina italiana. Veri piatti tipici italiani e non trappole per turisti. La pizza è tra le migliori che si possono mangiare, persino confrontate con quelle in Italia. Il pesto fatto in casa è buonissimo. Top

Great pizzas, great salads, tasty desserts. Some of the staff are really stuck up, but there's a really friendly Italian waiter Michele. The owners are really friendly too. Ambient is nice. Update: The quality dropped drastically over the last few years. I'm sad to see another pizza place fall into the typical Slovene mediocre pizza spot.

Michele, stop buying tomato sauce in Slovenia, it's too sour. Dough is also not as good as it was. You were better than Verace, not anymore. Although with so many tourists coming in this new location, really doesn't matter anymore, I guess ;)
