Probamos los takoyakis una vez en Madrid y tenemos que reconocer que después de probar estos nos hemos dado cuenta que los que comimos en España no sabían a nada. Estos tienen mucho sabor y el pollo katsu igual. Buen precio. El té qué probamos también estaba rico y no llevaba azúcar.

What's Takoyaki? 🐙 【Takoyaki】 is a popular Japanese street food that originated in Osaka. It is a ball-shaped snack made from a batter of wheat flour, dashi (Japanese soup stock), eggs, and water. The key ingredient of takoyaki is small pieces of octopus (tako), which are placed in the batter before cooking. The batter, along with the octopus, is poured into specially designed takoyaki pans, which have half-spherical molds. The pans are then rotated to ensure even cooking and to shape the batter into perfect spheres. As the takoyaki cooks, it develops a crispy outer layer while remaining soft and fluffy on the inside. Visited early September as couple. Fantastic experience with Takoyaki! We ordered Takoyaki, a traditional Japanese street food filled with octopus. We also ordered 1x Sencha and 1x Genmaicha. Despite being a small hidden place, this fast food stand exceeded our expectations. The owner, who was the sole staff member, managed to serve everyone with great efficiency. He exemplified the polite and friendly nature we had anticipated from Japanese culture. Cooking and serving simultaneously was no easy task, but he handled it flawlessly. (5/5) The Takoyaki itself was outstanding. The filling, consisting of octopus and the dough, was perfectly balanced. The toppings and sauce added an authentic touch. It's worth noting that the Takoyaki was served piping hot, so caution is advised. (5/5) The Sencha and Genmaicha were not overly sweet but instead offered the delightful taste of traditional Japanese tea, slightly bitter as expected. (5/5) One aspect to consider is the opening hours. On a subsequent visit on a Thursday afternoon around 3 pm, we were disappointed to find the restaurant closed without any notice. (3/5) Regarding the ambiance, it must be acknowledged that the restaurant is situated in an underground path at the train station. Therefore, cleanliness and scenic views are not to be expected. Additionally, the heat emanating from the kitchen can be discomforting. However, we commend the owner for his efforts to combat the heat and still provide excellent service to customers. (5+5+5+3)/4 = 4.5 => 5 stars

This is great departure from other fast-food places around. The food is freshly prepared in front of your eyes and it tastes good. And the train station surroundings with a rush give this place such a Blade Runner vibes.
