Didn't have food so can't comment in that. Actually for us we were reluctant to leave a review in case Macek gets too popular! We had rain for the 4 days in Ljubljana so we were mostly indoors. For us the fact that the music was low, the seats were comfortable, the heat was on and the drinks/service was good made all the difference. Many other places trade on being hip but they can be overhyped. This place for us was ideal. Only 1 piece of advice and that's the toilets which could be better other than that an ideal pub/café.

Auf den ersten Eindruck, ein schönes Lokal direkt am Fluss. Dann wurde die Musik immer lauter (Nachbargaststätten) und die Bedienung war etwas unaufmerksam. Mehr als Getränke wollten wir dort auch nicht mehr zu uns nehmen, da insbesondere auch die WC Anlagen sehr schmutzig waren (und es war noch nicht mal Mittag) - Äußerlich eigentlich alles schön, wenn man genauer hinsieht, nicht mehr wirklich toll.

The absolute worst experience in any coffee shop I've been to. The cafe is otherwise in a perfect location, next to the promenade by the Ljubljanica, it have many chairs to rest and a variety of food and drinks. However, the service was at a shameful level. The young waitress who greeted us left us the second we sat down and wanted to order and sat on a nearby wall smoking a cigarette and surfing on her mobile phone. After 15 minutes, she deigned to come to us and take the order, without a smile or kindness. We soon got our coffees and sandwiches, unfortunately. My espresso was some sort of pale brown clear liquid with a bitter sour taste that resembled coffee, but only resembled it. The two coffees my daughter and wife ordered were also below par for any cafe, let alone one in such a beautiful location. The sandwiches were OK, but with an overly salty pesto that spoiled the overall impression. And like sugar at the end came the payment. After we asked for the bill, no one showed up for the next 15 minutes. In the end, I had to go to the cafe myself and pay. We left very disappointed because we love Ljubljana, and this is an unwanted stain on such a wonderful city.

Didn't seem too full but we still had to wait for about 45min on only 3 coffees after the second waiter had to take our order. Dont know if the first one forgot or just didnt care because we saw other people also waiting on their coffee's while he was just standing in the door talking to one of his colleagues. Didn't catch his name but there was only one guy who actually worked so the 3 star service goes to him because he actually apologised multiple times and kinda felt bad. The coffee itself was good, cant do much wrong with a cappuccino though. Prices were reasonable considering its pretty close to the centre. Only go there when it's not busy.

Krásna kaviareň s veľmi príjemnou záhradkou pri rieke v centre Ľubľane. Veľmi príjemná obsluha krásne a príjemné prostredie v Interiéri môžem len doporučiť. A aby som nezabudol dávali sme si Kapučino bolo výborné
