When you're looking for A nonchalant, à l' aise and A free Slovenian, with An Italian twist, mentality : stay here! It's got 3 apples on www.farmtourism.si , but during our stay we were the only couple there. We came from Luče, through Ljubljana and asked for dinner before hand. We were treated with selfmade prosciutto, salami, pancetta, soup, sausage, vegetables, teran and white wine! We left the table as round as balloons, €20 p.p. Božo, the owner, seems to be A man with many ideas and plans. It's noticable through his always friendly but sometimes distracted character 😌. Breakfast is at '9:00-ish'. Nothing fancy. Simple percolator coffee and tea. Eggs on request. Sweets as A surprise treat. Always A bit of extra take away bread and prosciutto for lunch. Like other things around the house, the pool is under construction. But it works, it's clean and at evenings it's beautiful to see the swallows drink midflight. Rooms are clean, airconditioned, simple, ours had A little terras, A great shower and television had National Geographic, BBC Earth and STARchannel. Windows even have insect screens! But still mosquitos found ways to get inside?? (Bring anti-moustique everywhere you go in Slovenian summer). If you can not appreciate little quirckes and twists in your schedule, the 'go with the flow' mentality, do not come here. Sleeping here is cheap, the good/wine and company makes it whortwhile. Even our dog loved Božo's spirit and wide home to roam. And Atos, his 4 month old Cane Corso puppy. When we didn't eat at Božo's, we went out in nearby Komen to Špacapanova hiša which got A green Michelin star this year, or Pizzerija Na Placu. Both are 10min. drive. Daytrips existed of visits to Fiesa & Piran (1:30h drive), dogbeach in Sistiana (30min. drive) and Geopark Idrija (1:30h drive). Eventually we also took A lot of Božo's wines home. By our standards, it was a stay of quality! Recommended!

Il posto è bello situato in una bellissima vallata del carso sloveno. I prodotti sono di scarsa qualità. Il vino è mediocre. I salumi proposti sembrano acquistati in supermercato, nulla da vedere con i salumi casarecci prodotti in zona. Solo il salame sembrava fatto in casa. Da evitare. Ci sono osmize nel carso sia sloveno che triestino di livello nettamente superiore. Peccato, occasione persa. Non ci tornerò mai più.

Ma che bella sorpresa lunga la Green way della Slovenia... in mezzo al nulla, no bar ristoranti o altro ecco che per sbaglio un cartello piccolo sulla strada Xi fermiamo e troviamo una bella persona che si prodiga con quello che fa lui ... affettati misti e formaggio on quantità vino caffè e liquore finale. Il conto ? Quasi ridicolo... se mai dovessi suggerirlo lo farei senz'altro!

Pričakovala sem da bom končno jedla dobro joto. Porazno. Bila je zmiksana čorba, z zeljem in fižolom vred. Kot ena gosta kremna juha. Zraven pa KUHANA pečenice.
