I have been frequenting Korean restaurants around London for several years now, and I decided to visit the one which popped up in my home town Ljubljana. Located a convenient part of town, not too far from the city centre and yet far enough to offer free parking. The décor, like you would expect from any Korean restaurant, is simple and minimalistic. It offers comfortable and non-pretentious sitting areas with limited natural light. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who, unfortunately, had a rather bad command of Slovenian language. Although endearing in a way, placing someone like that at the front of the house, can be a risky business. Korean cuisine is relatively unknown and demands some elaborate introduction to majority of the restaurant’s potential guests. I ordered my favourite, chicken bibimbap and since I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert, I knew exactly what to expect. It was a party of 3 and we ordered a selection of starters. I was somewhat disappointed that the started were served at the same time as the main courses. All starters were tasty, well presented and went down really well. By the time I got to my main course, I realised that the dish was already cold. The egg, which is normally runny and ready to be stirred with the rest of the ingredients, was hard and dry. Not being able to mix it, resulted in the plate to be rather tasteless and dry. I am unsure whether this was due to it being served too early and cooling down, or the egg was served hard in the first place. I was rather disappointed. On a slightly different note, I suppose we were unlucky that day and the toilets were blocked. This might have been bad luck on our part, but the fact that we were the only guests in the restaurant, should have made it easier to stay on top of issues. All in all, I would mark it as average and I do hope that this review brings some insight into the improvements that could be implemented to make this an extraordinary place!

Exotic tiny Korean restaurant in capitols's business downtown. Great example of foreign quisine. Healthy and delicios food. Each menuitem deepy explained in menu booklet. Very positive step in this area. I highly recomend it.

it definitely offers a good variety of Korean food. some are great while others seem to be low on flavours. again, this is a personal viewpoint. overall though, a good addition to the changing food landscape of Ljubljana!
